Solest Takachiho Hotel Reviews

The worst hotel of my stay in Kyushu, but yet the most expensive. I paid more than €370 for a suite but the bathroom smelled like sewer. when I reported it they just offered me another smaller room and no other compensation despite my requests. I asked for a commercial gesture but there was nothing to be done. The only good thing is that the hotel is nice looking but that's no use if the experience is bad. The next morning they gave us 2 pens and a picture as compensation. I really thought they were making fun of us. I feel frustrated. I will never repeat this experience and I do not recommend...

The front desk was very impolite on the day I checked in, kept asking me to stick the “do not disturb” sign on the door, even called to my room asking that at the moment I haven’t settled down yet! it’s good that not seeing them around afterwards. And the other front desk staff are nice and helpful. P.S I stayed in this hotel 3 days 2 nights

Modern and clean hotel with a spacious parking lot!Great location !

The hotel room is big and clean. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Easy check in and check out procedures.

Lovely hotel located 5 minutes walk to Takachiho Shrine and 15-20 minutes to Takachiho Gorge. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent service at the reception desk. Hotel provided seat cushions for us to sit on to watch the evening show at Takachiho Shrine. Also very helpful with confirming our next destination since we did not speak Japanese. Lovely meals in the onsite restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel and even stay here again one day.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was delighted with the experience. The room was incredibly comfortable, providing a cozy and relaxing atmosphere. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were friendly and proficient in English, ensuring smooth communication throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

The hotel location is ok, but for the hotel standard, is over-price.

The service is good and the hotel is new and nice. However the bed is very springy and narrow and due to the way the cover beneath the sheet on the mattress fit the bed there was an annoying edge which limited the already narrow bed. I'm very sorry but a good bed is priority number one in a hotel for me.

awesome place in a sleepy town

Great location, service and amazing breakfast. Rooms are new, modern and clean. However do note there's no onsen on-site.

Since there are not many hotel options nearby, this hotel is also a good choice. The price is not cheap, but it is not bad. The room is clean and well-organized. There is a steakhouse nearby that is very delicious.

All services and facilities are good

The lobby is beautifully decorated, but the rooms are small, have no facilities, and there is no bathhouse. It is inconvenient to park and walk back to the lobby. The price is high and the price-performance ratio is low. Not recommended
