Hida Takayama Washington Hotel Plaza Reviews

The hotel is just opposite the JR station and bus station, extremely convenient! They provide free umbrellas, free flow amenities (toothbrush, comb, coffee, tea, sugar, etc) at the lobby based on trust, in room slippers, pajamas but too big for me, in room bathtub with shampoo, moisturizer and shower gel, hand foam soap, towels. The carpets are a little old and while trying to find something that I had dropped, saw that it’s not totally clean beneath the bed. Nevertheless, the main areas are clean. The hotel has a microwave in the lobby, two massage chairs, two washing machine with dryer capabilities, public bath and restaurant for breakfast. For this price, it’s really good value for money!

Great location, right opposite Takayama train / Bus station. Convenient to travel to Shinhotaka, Shirakawago and back to big cities such as Nagoya or Osaka. The rooms are quite small but the breakfast is great. There’s many restaurants nearby (don’t miss Hida beef. It’s simply the Best!). Takayama Old town and morning market is within walking distance. 👍👍

The location is very convenient as it is right opposite to the main train station at Takamaya. They also have staff who speak English and that’s very great.

This hotel is just opposite to the Takayama JR station, best location among nearby hotels. The room is tidy and clean. There is a restaurant just at the ground floor of the hotel and tastes good and still opens at around 10pm! Good choice if you ave to arrive takayama at night by JR.

the hotel is very near from the takayama station. the staff are very accomodating, and very good in english too.

Very convenuent and services is good. Public bath is also nice.

Perfect location just a few steps railway / bus terminal. Triple room is not big but ok. Worth the money!

The location is great as it is near train station. The room is clean with all amenities. Staff is nice. Unfortunately we requested a non-smoking room since booking but not available on check in date.

Pleasant stayed as for it price in Japan hotel !! Friendly staffs & good service. Location is superb as only 2-5mins walk from train station & bus terminal station too . Easy access to attractions places either by trains or buses . Friendly staffs in the tourists information counter which sit next to bus terminal provide you clear information too. Breakfast were included but then bit boring for its same Japanese menu every day !

the hotel location is very close to the station, check in time is fast, the room have a big window that can be open, it gives travelers some fresh air and breeze, the bed quality has room of improvement, toilet is clean and the shower is strong
