"The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the JR station, and popular attractions like the Hida Takayama Old Town are just a 10-minute walk away. Coming back to the hotel for a relaxing hot spring bath in the evening was wonderful. The hotel's breakfast was also quite good. Highly recommended!"

"I've never stayed in a hotel room this spacious in Japan for only 400 yuan. The only downside is that getting to and from Takayama Station isn't convenient; you'll need the hotel's shuttle service. If you miss a shuttle, you have to wait a long time, especially since the last one departs at 9:30 PM. However, the mountain views are stunning, and the breakfast is plentiful. The hotel also offers an outdoor bath, though it's not a hot spring. If you're spending an extra couple of days in Takayama, it's worth experiencing this place."

"All the staff were very friendly, and the room was spacious and cleaned daily. They offer complimentary supper each night (ochazuke/tangyuan). Breakfast costs around 1650 JPY and is quite delicious – great for those on a tight schedule to fill up before heading out. The rooftop onsen provides free popsicles. In the hotel lobby, you can enjoy complimentary coffee and iced water. The hotel's dinner is worth trying; there are à la carte options (around 1500 JPY) and Hida beef (around 4000 JPY). I tried all three à la carte choices, and they were all excellent and highly recommended, offering great value for money. The hotel is conveniently located a 5-minute walk from JR Takayama Station and the Nohi Bus Terminal. There's a McDonald's within a 10-minute walk and a FamilyMart just a 2-minute walk away, so you don't have to worry about getting hungry late at night. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel; I would definitely book it again if I return to Takayama."

"The hotel boasts a convenient location, pristine cleanliness, excellent facilities, and fantastic service. They provide laundry and drying machines, complimentary drinking water and ice, along with free luggage storage. Rooms are notably spacious for Japan, and the bathrooms are a good size too. The breakfast offers superb value for money; if you're not pressed for time, I highly recommend having it daily."

"The 31-square-meter room was clean and bright, with a door separating the kitchen and bedroom. The bathroom and shower room were two separate spaces, which was very comfortable. It was fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, pots, plates, bowls, and chopsticks. We bought Hida beef from the supermarket and cooked it ourselves. Both large supermarkets are west of the hotel; just exit the hotel, turn left, then left again, cross the railway underpass, and walk straight for 8 minutes to reach them. From the hotel balcony, looking south, you can see the Takayama Nohi Bus Center. The staff were warm and welcoming, and spoke excellent English."

"New hotel, modern, just next to Takayama Station so very convenient location. Room is spacious. With Japanese onsen facility and foot bath (with great view) which are free to use. Dinner is tasty. The only comment is long queue during checkin time at around 3pm probably because it is a popular hotel or so happen a train arrived."

"The location of the hotel is so convenient as it is just infront of the Nohi Bus Centre and the Takayama Train Station. I has ramen every night as shops are near the hotel. I had a great room during my stay which had a great view as well. Family Mart is just downstairs of the hotel too! Room was cleaned everyday. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone!"

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. The room was quite spacious, and for the price in Japan, it offers great value for money. The main thing is that the stay was very comfortable 👍. The hotel had many European and American tourists coming and going. The location is very close to the Nohi Bus Center and the train station, about a 5-minute walk, so transportation is very convenient. It's also not far from Takayama Old Town, just a leisurely stroll away. There are many good restaurants nearby as well. The Hida beef soba noodle shop next door was particularly delicious. If I go to Takayama again, this hotel will be my top choice."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Its location is very convenient, just a pleasant 15-minute walk from Takayama Station, with the added bonus of a reliable hourly shuttle (be sure to check the schedule in advance). We stayed in a comfortable room in the new building. The hotel is spacious, with great amenities like ice machines on every floor and a self-service laundry in the basement near reception. A real highlight was the two onsen (hot spring baths), each with a distinct style and layout featuring both indoor and outdoor areas. They were superb. The service throughout our stay was excellent. All the staff were incredibly pleasant and helpful, providing clear explanations in English upon check-in. The hotel also boasts the largest souvenir shop. We even enjoyed a beautiful snowfall from our room on the last night. We would definitely choose to stay here again on a return visit to Takayama."
