Thanks to the store for upgrading our room. We can see Mount Fuji🗻 Unfortunately the weather was bad. The front desk was Chinese and very friendly. The hot spring was very comfortable. I will choose this hotel again next time I have the chance.

The open-air bath is great! The mini cable car is also very unique. The room is a bit dated but the price/performance ratio is very good. Both meals were very good.

Not recommend for family trip. The location is good if next day morning you go to the ropeway. Just driving 5 mins there. Many Chinese tours living there. Very noise and crowded everywhere. My family 4 members, 2 rooms checked in at 1730. The staff gave me one paper(with all restaurant names) and said “no dinner, no breakfast” because all restaurants occupied by the tours. No booking no seat. We never know it. The location is nothing surrounding that we need to drive 25 mins for one so call convenience store to buy cup noodles to my kids under the dark night. The staff just tell you cannot serve you. No seat. Very clear. Room is clean. Because the first priority is giving to big group and tours, suggest you pre-book the restaurant before living there. Bad experience. Compare with the price. Service below standard. Not value for money.

I like the room very much, the size is ok, the heater is so good, I can’t wait to buy one and take it home! The service staff are very welcoming and will greet you at the door. There is an endless stream of customers during this season, and bathing in the hot springs is fun.

The temperature in the outdoor part of the indoor hot spring house is too cold, and two meals are enough for one stay. The water flow in the bath must be pressed at all times, unlike ordinary faucets, which is a bit troublesome. The mountain view is beautiful. The Japanese-style room is large and can accommodate four people on tatami mats.

This is an old hotel. I planned to go directly to Shin-Hotaka the next day, so I arranged a one-night stay. I saw some bad reviews written on XHS, and I was worried that I might be wrong. Although the hotel is old, it has no smell and is clean and tidy. The uncle at the front desk speaks very good English and can communicate normally. Provide clear instructions on the restaurants for dinner and breakfast. If you need to make a private appointment, you can also make an appointment. What deserves praise is a dark-skinned guy in the hotel who is fluent in English and has a friendly attitude. We made an appointment for a private bath, but we were in a hurry to go out and forgot to bring the guide map with us, so we couldn’t find the route. When we were in a hurry, we asked him for help. He patiently led us all the way and instructed us to change our clogs and slippers into rain boots before going. Very good 👍 When I came back, I wanted to confirm whether the private bath fee was paid directly or included in the room rate. The old lady in Japanese kimono wanted to explain it to us. She worked very hard. Although we still talked about it, her enthusiasm was infectious. us. When we went out the next day, the hotel staff would actively ask us which direction to go and guide us to wait for the bus at the bus stop sign for Penguin.

The hotel is located in a slightly remote location, suitable for travelers who don't like crowds. There are no other businesses around. The location is not far from the Hotaka Ropeway Station. It is only a short ride away. The station is right in front of the hotel. The hotel is not small and old, but it is very stylish. The basic facilities are all good and the hygiene is up to standard. The room is large, but the bed and the two huge bedside lamps are a bit outdated. The food in the hotel is also good, and the price is not expensive. . Finally, I have to say that the hotel's large outdoor bathroom is very unique, especially in windy, snowy and rainy weather. Friends who like open-air hot springs will not regret it.
