K's House Takayama Oasis [2nd K's Hostel] Reviews

2nd time using this place, and as usual, been a really pleasant and enjoyable one For the price that you pay for, the location is near the train station, bus terminal and walkable distance to the old town as well. Extremely convenient and efficient place. As usual, staff who was working there were really helpful! And there was this pretty japanese lady, who by the end of our stay went out of her way to assist in sending my snowboard all the way over to hokkaido to my next hotel. Best services ever 🫰 Location was amongst all the best food the city could provide too!

Excellent hostel. Just 3-4 mins away from the Takayama station. Easy to find. Very helpful staff who explained everything and answered all my queries. Two clean bedsheets n a clean pillow case given when checked in. The staff reminded me to sleep in between the two bedsheets, which was very reassuring. The single 'cabin' is spacious n clean. Didn't feel stuffy or itchy. Best hostel ever stayed.

This youth hostel is very unique. I like their 2nd floor public area. You can buy ingredients to cook and read books. We stayed on the 5th floor. There is a private bathroom and a small elevator. There is Hida beef for eating in the mountain. We bought it before leaving and cooked it in the kitchen. It felt very good. I hope to have a chance to come again in the future...

Very satisfied. The kitchen is well equipped and I made my own dinner. You can rent bicycles for 150 yen/hour, up to 1000 yen, cheap. The front desk lady is super cute and gentle. There is Maruaki Hida Beef nearby, which is open from 11 am to 9 pm. At 5:30 pm for dinner that day, there was no queue after 50 tables were lined up😂. I heard from other guests that there was no queue at 4:30 pm.

I like the hotel, the service is very good, I will definitely stay there next time

Nice place to stay

The facilities are simple and you can stay there if you have a limited budget, but of course it feels very different from staying in a hotel.

I have a very comfortable stay here. The youth hostel is very close to the train station. There is an elevator up and down the stairs. The lady at the front desk introduced the environment here to me in detail. The room was very clean and a hairdryer was provided. There are free tea and spices in the kitchen, and free coffee for two hours starting at 7 o'clock every morning.

The staff are absolutely incredible and the facilities are so comfortable. First Hostel stay and it was above and beyond

Accommodation near the station, convenient travel, made many new friends from this place. Next time will stay here again.

Clean environment and very friendly staff

I made a sudden decision the day before and just asked for a place to sleep. Unfortunately, the rain made my shoes sticky, but there was a shoe dryer, which was very helpful. The shared spaces are also spaced out widely. Kendama, kaleidoscopes, and other nostalgic things, coffee, and shared refrigerators were usable without any problems, so overall it was comfortable. There was also a kitchen and utensils.

There was an evacuation equipment installation and a sign above the room. Kind of weird.
