The cleanliness of the room is satisfactory. The sound insulation of the floor is poor and the footsteps upstairs are easy to hear.

The hotel is relatively small and the facilities are fairly complete, but it is relatively old. The location of the hotel is not bad, you can walk from the station under normal circumstances, but it is more difficult to carry luggage. The price is expensive, and the price/performance ratio is not high. There are better choices in Gaoshan.

It's my first time at a ryokan, and it's quiet like a hanok... The museum-like interior and breakfast tastes great... More than anything, there's a morning market 10 minutes away on foot, and what's called Little Kyoto??? It's there... and the bus terminal to Shirakawa is close...

Lovely looking traditional Ryokan with an indoor Onsen. Was a very pleasant stay in an authentic Japanese Ryokan. Would recommend.

A traditional inn located a 10 minute walk from the station, It was raining quite hard when we arrived but the reception staff quickly dried off our luggage and jackets before checking in and the guided tour of the place. Once again a large room with futons on the floor but this time with en suite bathroom. There is a thermal pool here but its not mixed or private like the previous place we stayed at but still quite enjoyable after a day walking around Takayama. We only stayed here for one night which was more than enough to see the local sites and experience a traditional stay. We were room only here so cant comment on the food.
