The hotel is relatively small and the facilities are fairly complete, but it is relatively old. The location of the hotel is not bad, you can walk from the station under normal circumstances, but it is more difficult to carry luggage. The price is expensive, and the price/performance ratio is not high. There are better choices in Gaoshan.

It's my first time at a ryokan, and it's quiet like a hanok... The museum-like interior and breakfast tastes great... More than anything, there's a morning market 10 minutes away on foot, and what's called Little Kyoto??? It's there... and the bus terminal to Shirakawa is close...

La estancia está siendo ideal. Tanto el lugar como el personal es un encanto. El ryokan cuenta con todas las comodidades y detalles para que te sientas como en casa, y a la vez en sintonía con Japón y su cultura. Todo está limpísimo y mimado al detalle… si lo visitáis no querréis iros! Solo por la paz que se respira en el ambiente ya merece la pena. Nos os arrepentiréis de venir.

Ryokan (hotel tradicional japonés) que superó nuestras expectativas. Habitaciones super espaciosas, con muchos detalles cuidados al milímetro y el staff súper amable y simpático. Nada más llegar tienes que dejar tus zapatos en la entrada para andar con unas zapatillas que te facilitan ellos y también escoges una yukata para poder llevar durante tu estancia. El desayuno tradicional japonés fue una pasada! Además si eres celíaco te adaptan el desayuno a continental sin gluten. El onsen muy chulo pero lástima que no se pueda reservar para ir con tu pareja de manera privada. Sin duda si volviéramos a Takayama repetiríamos la experiencia!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The building and facilities have a great sense of genuine traditional style with just enough modern amenities. The room was clean and spacious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend the traditional Japanese breakfast.
