3-Star Hotels in Tallinn

Our stay was really nice. The staff was great, room was clean and location is perfect. Would like to return and probably will do that. Liked everything that hotel had to offer around that price point. Everything is right around the corner from this place - shops, bars and restaurants.

Very ice and cozy place to stay. Rooms are really small, probably more suitable for one person not a couple. Everything modern and comfortable, very nice and modern bathroom, only their mattress was too tough (not American style, ha-ha). They have a very nice lobby with bar and a restaurant . Really close to everything: 2 min drive from bus station, 5-7 from airport, less than 10 min walk to the old city. What I didn't like: staff charged me for an early check-in almost the same what I paid for one day. And I had problem with charging my phone, the socket didn't work or maybe I didn't understand how to use it, it was more complicated than just insert you charger into socket)))) But anyway this hotel is certanly much better than you expect from economy for less than 40 euro per night. If you travel to/from Tallinn by bus or air and want to be closer to bus station/airport, if you're solo traveler or couple but need hotel for 1-2 nights and don't have much luggage, I highly recommend this place

Location: Great, right next to the train station, accessible by almost all trams and buses Room: A little small, but very clean, the bathroom is also very clean Breakfast: There are many kinds, and there is also fish to eat, not only ham. I only stayed for two nights, and the breakfast dishes were exactly the same for both days, with no change at all. If you stay for a few more nights, you will really get tired of it. Facilities: The room facilities are not too new, but they are not old, and the hotel facilities do not look bad. At this price, this kind of accommodation is worth it. Highly recommend to stay!!

For cleanliness, safety and location (the big 3 for me), I would rate this five stars. It really was super clean, it felt super safe, and it was only a few minutes walk from Terminal A for Eckero boats. These are big factors! The room was also very well equipped with a hairdryer, plenty of towels, two nice big pillows, and soaps etc. Nice also to have a writing desk, and a blind that blocks out sun! These are all huge positives, so great job! If the following was solved, it would be a five star place! I had difficulties with check-in. I did self check-in, and I was given a room with number. There were no signs to show which way to go. However, I did find my way eventually. When I got there, I couldn't open the door, as it turns out my key card had to be authorised by reception first. So I had to go all the way back down, and through to the main hotel reception (as the express one was closed). But I had two big suitcases, so this was problematic! If there was a note saying ”those with a coronavirus pass to show, come to reception, it would be much easier. Finally, I was woken up by noisy doors - mainly from the housekeeper/s. This wasn't so much their fault, but the fault of the doors. However, I did sleep well all night until that time! If the doors could be ”soft close”, it would be much better :) Otherwise, really, it's a great place - and I would have rated it 4.5/5 or 9/10 (based on my overall experience) if TripAdvisor allowed it!

It was my second stay here. Nice and absolutely quiet rooms, fine breakfast. No issues with wifi. Friendly staff. There are a lot of stairs up to the rooms if you're staying on the 5th floor or higher. It may be difficult to climb up. And we didn't like the food and the service at the restaurant next door.

Hotel City Yard Inn is located in a quiet yard at walking distance of the ferry terminal and the Old Town. The Tallinn railway-station is at 1,4 km. Built as a apartment hotel in 2017, City Yard Inn offers rooms with kitchenette as well as small apartments for longer stays. The hotel is adequately outfitted and modern. Best is to book directly at the hotel site. Free Wi-Fi. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our room was no-frills furnished and decorated, with table & chair, TV on the wall, and a good single bed. In the room a small kitchenette with stovetop, sink, fridge, microwave and pots & pans for 2. We had a small separate bathroom with toilet, washbasin & shower. All was very clean. The buffet breakfast is modest but OK: bread, rolls & toast, ham & cheese, omelette & hard boiled eggs, butter & marmalade, fruit & juice, cereals, milk & mineral water, tea & coffee. We found hotel comfortable and very quiet and we had a good stay. Excellent value-for-money. Recommended.

Hands down the most well designed hotel I've ever stayed at! Hektor containers have nicely balanced out design, sustainability, and practicality to create a homely stay for their guests. Not only is it environmentally conscious, but it also nails the basics. The cleanliness of the place was impeccable, making my stay comfortable and worry-free. The location added a cherry on top, allowing easy access to nearby attractions and activities.

The location of the hotel is very good, just across a street to the old town, very convenient. The front desk service is super, very patient to answer questions, warm and friendly. The restaurant is very modest and the breakfast is also good. The hotel is very quiet, if you want to go to the convenience store, you can walk one street away. The only complaint is that the hotel bed is a bit small. Overall very satisfied.

The hotel was in a great location. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. There was a fridge in the room. The only disappointment was that there was no electric kettle. I did get a glass of hot water when I requested it.
