In the Shade Hotel - Coworking - 300Mbit - Adults Only

Wow! If I could give more stars, I would. We had such an exceptional week at In The Shade Hotel. Patrick, Michelle, Maggie, and Sandra were all top notch. From the moment you check in to the moment you leave, you’re always greeted with a warm hello and made to feel welcome. The Garden Café is amazing. Breakfast, lunch, and smoothies were all delicious, and the portions are generous. The pool is one of the warmest I’ve ever been in, with plenty of shade to relax comfortably. We stayed in the corner suite, which felt very private. It overlooks the restaurant next door, but everything quiets down after 10pm, so it’s still a peaceful area. The rooms include towels and hand towels, but no facecloths, so I’d recommend bringing your own. It’s not a big deal, just something to note. There is also laundry on site for a small fee, and they even fold everything for you, which was a great bonus. They also host Thursday night socials, which is a fun way to meet other guests. The location is perfect. About a 5 to 7 minute walk to the beach, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. There are also two local markets that are definitely worth checking out. All rooms will offer a kitchenette. We’re already planning our next trip back

I'm so glad that I found this hotel. There are not a lot rooms which was fine. Adults only which was also fine. My room was great. Every room is by the pool which was great. The hotel is walking distance (5 to 10 minutes) from many bars, restaurants, and the beach. There's a great variety of restaurants also. I recommend staying here if possible.

Great location, friendly management, delicious breakfast right on site! Nice pool for a quick dip while being short under 10 min walk to the shops and beach. Refrigerator in room & private balcony nice touch!

The staff and the hotel, outdoor pool was fantoastic! My hosy was gracious and arranged for a yerrific scuba diving experience. The breakfast served was delicious and modestly priced. It was a very relaxing resort! I will definitely return. My host also noticed my interests and directed me to go to bookstores and great restaurants. Tamarindo is a nice town but this hot el enhanced my experience

Pool was refreshing, fridge in the room. Friendly staff, air conditioning work well, no breakfast, one overhead light did not work. We recommend the property

Maggie is such a cool woman, she welcome us with such enthusiasm knowing its our first time to visit Costa Rica. The property is centrally located and the Breakfast,if you include, is well portioned and delicious. The Staff here is the real Gem of this place. Each and everyone of them are so accomodating and attentive. Will definitely recoomend and stay again.

Fresh breakfast menu. Clean , spacious room. Helpful staff- good location..Close to many restaurants, walking distance totnej beach and a large refreshing pool. Very helpful staff! Can't praise Maggie enough! She is insightful about directing guests to activities that would please them.

Very delicious breakfast, highly recommend to use the with breakfast option while booking. Small hotel, a little loud in the evenings given it is in between two restaurants. Decent location
