Hampton Inn Tampa-Airport/Rocky Point

Amazing and friendly staff very clean and great ambiance.

SO Dissatisfied. When we got in the room smelled horribly, like body odor met mold and had a baby. We tried to stomach it for a few hours but finally called to tell the front desk. Cathy answered and offered us Fabreze or Lysol. I said I’d take both and she said I could come get it. SAY WHAT? Fabreze worked the first day but by morning it was no longer working. The room was also not in decent shape. It only needs some paint on baseboards to be more polished- but it looks very worn and therefore feels dirty. The lady at the front desk (not Cathy) never smiled once and had no warmth or personality. It felt like our presence was a bother. Then when I went to the desk and told Cathy that the vending machine had given me Coke Zero instead of Diet Coke she said “yeah there’s a number on it you can call”. I told her I was just post chemo and had just gotten sick and needed a Diet Coke. She said “sorry”. I am horrified that this is the level of “customer service” here. There ARE diet cokes for Hilton gold & diamond members- we are only silver now. She should have been kind enough to offer me one. The pool is tiny and in the middle of a parking lot, but the water was great. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. So disappointed.

1. Where's the Bacon? 2. Housekeeping for our 3 rooms was terrible. After the 1st day they had no time to clean our rooms. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th days of they were reminded, knocked on the door and asked if we needed towels. Had to ask to empty trash cans.

The staff was excellent- Ty checked us in and gave recommendations. The parking was easy and safe. The hotel is a little dated. Clean, quiet and convenient!

The Breakfast was great with lots of options. The airport shuttle only runs certain times so check with hotel before you book it didn't run at the time when I needed it. Rooms were very clean and staff was very nice.

Front desk staff was extremely kind and helpful! Welcomed with waters and cookies and a list of family friendly restaurants.

Fantastic experience. Breakfast was delish!! Shuttle service was awesome. Employees very friendly. Location was great. Highly recommend!!
