Went to see a show at the Straz and chose the Barrymore to stay overnight. An excellent choice for me. Pleasant , quiet room. A nice little happy hour from 5-6. Excellent front desk staff. Overall 5 stars.

The hotel was awesome and hotel staff lovely. The only complaint I had was that I had to shower with freezing g cold water both days. We had other rooms booked and they had no problem with water. It must have been just our room.

The Barrymore Hotel was very comfortable and welcoming. We arrived after a three day drive from Canada and the staff were very accommodating.
We appreciate the shuttle service and the beautiful area around the hotel.
I hope to stay at the Barrymore in the future and have already recommended it to friends.

Mold smell and odor in the rooms

This place is horrifying. Anyone from the street can wonder in and take over the pool area and the bathrooms. The front desk staff did nothing. No security or awareness of what is going on. The pool is full of people that are not staying at the hotel. This place is not recommended if your looking to enjoy the pool and the Riverwalk. Just a nigh**are. I do not recommend this hotel.

I reached out to The Barrymore's Sr. Sales Manger, Salina Lourenco, to help with accommodations for an upcoming company event and she delivered. Salina listened to my needs and was very timely with responses and booking the rooms. The entire process was very easy, follow up was timely, and the overall cost very reasonable. This is the best kept downtown hotel secret there is!
