Hampton Inn Tampa Downtown Channel District, FL

Great pre cruise hotel. Location is great. Food options within walking distance was also a plus. Hotel was very clean and well maintained.

Nothing beats good customer service. Kindness is underrated as soon as me and my grand daughter entered the door we were greeted and was treated with respect. They also accommodated us from the room that was chosen and gave us a room that was already finished. If you cruise they have a shuttle that takes you to the port( you must ask to be scheduled). There are a lot of establishments near and within walking distance ( especially if you have a gimpy knee and a little people with you). The room was clean and even housekeeping spoke when we got to our room. We placed a heart in the app as a fav so anytime we cruise from Tampa this will be the hotel of choice.

Stayed here one night, as we were touring UTampa the following morning. The main thing that stands out by far, is the amazing customer service and front desk staff. All of the ladies were super friendly and helpful. They made it a point to recommend places to eat in the area and explain how the complimentary trolley worked. When checking out the next morning, they offered to hold all our luggage for us and gave us bottles of water for our uber ride. The room was clean and comfortable. Parking for $40 was a little pricy, but found a spot easy in the covered garage. If I had to nit-pick, the only thing lacking was the water pressure in the shower. We will most definitely be back.

Overall, our most recent stay at Hampton Inn Tampa Downtown Channel District was excellent. The facilities were beautiful, clean, and well-maintained, creating a very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The location was incredibly convenient, within walking distance to nearby stores, and with the port close by, plus the added bonus of a free shuttle to the Port of Tampa. What truly stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but Colin went above and beyond by assisting me even before I arrived in Tampa, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I would absolutely recommend this hotel to others visiting the area.
