Excellent

I'd just recommend it, because it wasn't completely bad, but we'd still choose a different hotel next time. The room, especially the bathroom, was shockingly poorly cleaned. However, it was very large and well-equipped. The TV and basic amenities were fine. Wi-Fi was only available if you were a Hilton Members member, the only time on our trip where you had to become a member to get free Wi-Fi. We had been members before, so it wasn't a problem for us, but I still find it very odd. We had a corner room facing a busy street, so it was actually very noisy the whole time. Breakfast was okay, classic American style. There was little fruit, no vegetables, and no cheese, but that's normal in such hotels. Basically, the American breakfast is the same everywhere: egg dishes, waffles or pancakes, bagels, and toast. It's a "cruise-to-go" hotel, meaning most of the hotel guests are there for the night before going on a cruise, or are just returning from one. As a result, the lobby and hallways are always very busy, and everyone is (understandably) nervous. The reception staff sometimes seemed overwhelmed by the sheer number of people. Nevertheless, they tried to get everything done as best as possible, and when there were no cruise guests (which was rare), the atmosphere was more relaxed. The fitness center and pool were very good, the pool water was pleasant, and the location on the 6th floor was very nice with a great view. The location itself is very good, with many things within walking distance. Many people arrive by shuttle bus; we arrived by car. Parking costs €35, but it was very easy to find a spot.

Disappointed with cleanliness furniture was cloth old visibly dirty clothes pin on floor cloth head board I fret to think of how it’s even cleaned I usually love Hampton inn but not this one I will add staff was great all the way around this is not there fault at 300$ a night Hampton inn needs to put investment into updated rooms location is also loud

We booked this hotel for a night before a cruise. Easy to get to, easy check in, beautiful room with an amazing city view. Super close to the port. Room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfy. Would stay here if we cruise from Tampa again. We don’t really love Tampa and the only drawback to the hotel was that apparently Tampa doesn’t have a noise ordinance. There were ridiculously loud vehicles driving down the road all night long! But the hotel itself was great!!

I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and can easily say… breakfast buffet is set up terribly! Very long lines with the condiments in the beginning - with no knowledge of what was being served, so everyone had to go back through the line after they got their order, making the line longer. The actual food was quite tasty though. Biggest issue - the smell of **** at the pool!!!! I’m all for a good time, but this was constant!!! Not to mention this is a non smoking hotel. Complained to desk - did nothing. So many people were complaining!!

Very disappointed in our stay. Had two high level king rooms for a family vacation. Non-existent maid service left both rooms with no clean washcloths, trash removal, and no replacement of coffee for two days. Front desk inquiry told me maid service is only every other day, which would have been good to know when I checked in. Also paid $35/day for parking but could not get the gate to open when I left until I put in a credit card and was charged an additional $48 to get out of the parking garage. THE WORST HAMPTON INN SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCE!
