Holiday Resort & Spa Guam

I love the location , as it's a family area. The beach next door I nice with covered tables, and there's a lifeguard. It's a great opportunity to see local families having fun, and lots of kids without the tourist crowd. In the late afternoon you can see the large canoes practicing and racing. Go to the beach in the morning and late afternoon and watch the sunset. The resort staff are very helpful and kind. The red Tumon shuttle picks up out front. All in all a very good location. I'll be back soon!

This hotel was a complete disappointment — inconvenient, unpleasant, and poorly managed from start to finish. Upon arrival, the front desk clerk attempted to charge me the full nightly rate, even though I had previously confirmed by phone that a past-midnight (early) check-in would be allowed at 50% of the nightly charge. The clerk spent nearly 20 minutes insisting that I had been misinformed, showing no willingness to take responsibility. He even claimed the staff member who gave me the information was new — someone he said he knew well — seemingly to deflect accountability. After I firmly maintained my position that I would only pay what had been confirmed to me, he suddenly asked whether I remembered the employee’s name — a typical tactic to put a customer on the spot. When it became clear I would not back down, he stepped away to a back room for several minutes and then returned saying he could “waive it this time.” That phrasing left me wondering who would have benefited from the extra charge had I simply paid in full. Beyond the check-in issue, the property and room felt far older and more worn than the photos suggest, and not at all suitable for a family stay. The shampoo dispenser was empty or clogged; maintenance later said it was clogged, yet I still spent my second night without shampoo. I never expected five-star service here, but even a three-star rating would be generous based on my experience. The only redeeming factor is the location. Overall, I would rate this hotel one star and would not recommend it to anyone.

All of the staff are so friendly and so accomodating!! So peaceful in here. My husband and I would love to stay in this hotel again when we visit Guam😊 Thank youuu!!!

Rooms were clean. Air conditioning was not working well. No Hot water. Service was not good. Found a dead roach in the room. All the food on the Breakfast buffet was cold. Found another roach when we were eating breakfast. Front desk service was kind and helpful. Buffet service wasn’t friendly. Pool was dirty. Hotel smelt musky.
