The room is close to the sea, and it is very beautiful to fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves.
The only thing I don’t recommend is the hotel’s dinner, it’s not delicious and expensive.
It is recommended to eat at the tiramisu restaurant in the hilltop town of Taormina

L’hotel si trova in una splendida baia accarezzata dal mare. La struttura è vintage (sembra di essere tornati indietro nel tempo) ma la vista della camera è talmente mozzafiato da far dimenticare le mancanze di ristrutturazione. Il personale è attento e molto gentile. In particolare Alfio in spiaggia, Emanuela al ristorante e come non citare Edoardo il portiere di notte che ti accoglie con un sorriso! Everything you read about this hotel is true! Charming it is and it has the best location in Taormina Mare! We stayed here for the first time for 5 nights with our 4 year old son who was very well loved by all the staff, especially by Emanuella and Guiseppe from the restaurant and Guilia from the reception desk. All great people! We had a 3rd floor private balcony and the view was stunning! We didn’t mind so much of the old furniture in the building- it was like an old movie! We ate at their restaurant two nights in a row and had a light lunch one day after the beach. Everything was exceptional and a really easy commute to Taormina center (with our car). Would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Lido Mediterranee. The staff are attentive and professional, and the hotel
Is managed well and efficiently.
Outside terrace is beautiful and I love the vintage vibe of the rest of the amenities. Beautiful sea views too.

A Family hotel where you can enjoy going back in time with all the wonderful things hotel could offer in the past. It is still owned by the first family who built it. Everything is well taken care of . Extremely cleaned . Loved it

Stay was incredible. The service we received was 10/10. The staff were so nice and always helpful. Only downfall was the parking situation was a bit annoying. Regardless beautiful and I would stay here again !

Hotel located in a fantastic location. The sound of the sea as a background to the night is wonderful. Spacious, clean rooms. The staff were very kind and professional. A renovation of the structure would be very useful and would make it truly extraordinary.

Wow location location we had a room on the 2nd floor the views when we opened the balcony doors was magnificent the beach was a quick walk down a flight of stairs and being out of high season was all for us magical saw Bocelli in our stay it was truly spectacular love this town
