In total, it was a good stay. The price 1150€ for 2 nights is insane though. I like that the pool is open 24/7 and there is a beautiful restaurant with a view. The property also offered an upgrade, which was nice. The rooms are white and cold, though. Also the rooms should be cleaned while the guests are having the breakfast, so they need to use the updated system for tracking that.

Quando siamo a Taormina è d'obbligo la fermata al Metropole per un aperitivo nella loro incantevole veranda con vista sul golfo. Come sempre l'eleganza e la cortesia del Maitre per servirci un delizioso prosecco con annessi snack. Arrived on the 2nd of September and enjoyed every minute of the time we spent in the hotel. We arrived in the hotel reception and was greeted by the lovely Angelina, who made us so welcome and gave lots of information effortlessly. She had arranged some nice drinks for us that evening as we were there for a birthday celebration. She walked us to our lovely room and which was stunning, luckily we were also given a sea view room. Only disappointed was the fact we didn’t get the chance to say goodbye to her when left on the morning of 6th to thank her properly. Apologies for missing you, the Taxi picked us up pretty sharp. All of the reception staff were nice, helpful, friendly but professional. All the staff in the hotel were excellent, friendly, easy to talk to and helpful. The bar staff were great and made excellent cocktails with lovely Cicchetti sides which were very tasty. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff, were great and organised. The bed in the suite was comfortable and room was spotless and cleaned each day. The shower was spacious, with various shower heads and the Ortiga soaps smelt lovely, which can be bought at the shop on the Corso Umberto. The hotel is designed well with lovely art work and beautifully furnished. Location is the best, right on the Corso Umberto. The infinity pool views are spectacular. Will definitely return one day and wish all the staff all the best.

Hotel muitíssimo bem localizado, no centrinho de Taormina, com uma vista incrível! Ficamos hospedados num Quarto confortável, com terraço e jacuzzi aquecida. Área da piscina bacana e café da manhã bom. Destaque para o atendimento cordial e muito gentil da querida Âmbar, que assegurou que nossa estadia fosse muito agradável, além de fazer reservas para passeios de barco, entre outras coisas. Gostamos muito e indicamos!

Amazing hotel in an unbelievable position in the center of the town! Special mention to Santino who couldn't have been happier and more helpful to enjoy our visits to restaurants and the town. Also Giuseppe at the pool area. We hope to visit again.
