My second stay here, and my first since they remodeled from a B&B to independent apartments. Wonderful, friendly management, whom I have known since my first stay years ago. Beautifully outfitted apartments with every convenience; lovely pool with view overlooking the sea. Steps away from a local beach, slightly longer walk to others. A few hundred meters from train station; bus stop is near the Villa (for access to Taormina up the hill... or you can ascend the stair/path up the hill on foot, and descend as well.) Villa degli Ulivi is an excellent choice for visiting Taormina or Giardini-Naxos.

siamo stati una notte io e la mia fidanzata, posto tranquillo, sulla strada ma rialzato. la camera pulita con tutto, compreso il phon. i proprietari sono gentili e sopratutto la signora che ha un misto di accento tra spagnolo e siciliano molto simpatico. ci ha accolto con cortesia e subito spiegato dove poter andare a mangiare e le indicazioni. colazione casereccia molto carina sempre servita da loro, accompagnata dalla vista del mare.

The property was clean and spacious, large rooms, kitchen and balcony.
The property manager was very nice, accommodating, and easy to communicate with.
The only negative comment was the pillows and mattress. We could feel the springs in the mattress, I think I still have coil marks on my body.
