Pet-friendly Hotels in Taormina

Really best !!! I stayed in a suite apartment, the best view and the best room. I was able to cook and enjoy Taormina with the best ocean view. Even in the low season, even if there was no breakfast, they served freshly baked bread and juice of freshly grown oranges.

The room is slightly old, but the bed is very comfortable, the balcony has an invincible sea view, and the balcony door is open at night to listen to the waves against the moonlight to sleep very comfortable, so that you can instantly open the seaside holiday mode. The hotel and room are actually very clean, and one star is missing because there is a stain on the curtains like blood. Breakfast is quite rich compared to other local hotels. A few minutes walk from isola bella. The bus stop is at the door, and it is very convenient to go directly to other places and airports. The hotel also has a free bus to the town center, but the shifts and seats are limited. Walking is a bit dangerous because there is no sidewalk on the mountain and there is a motorway. The hotel staff is very patient and explain the problems in detail.

We very highly recommend the Batu and San Pietro, five stars all the way and without the tired forced pretentiousness so common now, from the moment we stepped out of our car thru every experience from breakfast to pool to coordinated excursions. The hotel has been in existence for 119 years. The service is very good. The location of the hotel is also good. It is just at the entrance of the most prosperous area on the mountain. It is also close to the ”Internet celebrity” four seasons. It has an independent garden area and swimming pool. The price is very high. The room is clean The product quality is also very good. The only fly in the ointment is that the facilities and room types are slightly flawed, but as a century-old hotel, I am already very satisfied. Generally speaking, it is highly recommended!

The experience of staying at Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina is extraordinarily nice! Splendid view of volcano Etna from our room, wonderful natural surroundings, excellent hospital staff and services, tasty Sicilian food and wines, luxury hotel rooms and spa, comfortable beds and pillows etc. Whoa, there are too many, they are all so kind and friendly, I will list all of their names below: Enzo (great sense of humor and welcomed us upon arrival); Orlando (sing like Pavarotti and entertainment master); Daniel (shy but work like pro); Antonio (artist name Tony Zano who raps and released 3 albums with 22 tracks, true master); Gisappi (Bartender with glasses, also a great teacher of making cocktails); Kristina (very kind and friendly with lovely smiles); David (humble waiter at restaurant, from Tuscany); Valentina (Wonderful Chinese speaking and sweet); Ricardo, Roberto (always smiling and helpful with carrying stuff); Margarita (amazing events planner and great photographer); Luca, Giovanni (excellent shuttle driver who loves cars); Matia (doorman who appreciates piano and music). Some others I couldn’t call their names, but I will always remember their lovely smiles and kind hospitality! Again, special thanks to all of them who made our stay experience unforgettable and incredible! Thanks! :)

The hotel is very good, the swimming pool is very good, the breakfast is rich, the scenery is very good

We loved the location of the hotel. We stayed 4 days and used it as our home as we e plowed the area. We did a city tour, a day of sailing and wine tasting at Barone di Villa Grande. It was raining one day so did not take in Mt Etnea. I definitely have to give a shout out to the concierge Sarah. She is FANTASTIC. She provided a wealth of information and booked events. It was my husbands birthday and she arranged a great surprise for him. the hotel is beautiful and the staff are friendly; however, she made our experience over the top. I stayed at Villa Carlotta for 4 nights at the end of September, the hotel was fully booked but I got the last Junior suite available. If anyone is coming from Catania , the bus is actually the most affordable way, only 5 euros and conveniently there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, literally! Also the airport bus goes direct, so do that if you want to save 100 euros in cab fare 😊. The moment I arrived for checkout Aji greeted me and checked me in swiftly , took my bags and offered me a nice welcoming drink at their rooftop restaurant. Aji was an amazing staff member, he looked after me and gave me so much useful advice, booked all my restaurants & beach access (highly recommend visiting the Belmond Santandrea beach if you can it is well worth it), and overall one of the nicest person you would come across, can’t say enough good things about him! Also the young lady on the front desk was a delight to speak to, she managed the social media and was such a kind person, always taking time to chat with me and keep me informed, a real pleasure to interact with! Now for the actual room, it was spacious with spectacular views over the sea and it even had two balconies, it got the most beautiful sunrise views I have seen in quite some time (attached in the pics to this review). The room was large with a nice long sofa looking out onto the sea and it had a classic modern feel, with a comfortable well equipped bathroom, and I had a great peaceful sleep there. For me the best part of the hotel was the roof top bar and restaurant , it was stunning, very chic and the views are unparalleled, I don’t think it can get much better. The breakfast was so delicious there every morning and never felt crowded , the mini cannoli’s are to die for! The service staff there were so friendly and warm, smiling always and genuinely happy to help you, you could see they loved working there, which is rare! The property had lovely gardens with beautiful flowers and plants everywhere, and a pool which was refreshing but I didn’t use it much as I was out and about most of the time. The proximity to the main town center is great, just 10 mins walk to the hotel which keeps things quiet, yet very accessible. If you are looking for a top notch boutique hotel experience with impeccable service then I would highly recommend staying here, can’t wait to come back!

A great location with good views of the bay. Just a short walk from the entrances to the old town and right above the bus station, which is really useful For local transport and also the airport. The hotel’s staff were brilliant. They could not do enough for us at the front desk and made all the difference. The breakfast has plenty to choose from and the dining room has great views. We sis not have dinner at the hotel, but the restaurant/ bar has a Happy Hour and was a great place for an early evening drink. The rooms are spacious, clean and we had a great view. It is worth paying a little extra for the balcony with a view.
