Excellent service and very helpful. Room was spotlessly clean. We felt like we were the only guests in the hotel. This hotel has a lot of charm. The lady at the front desk absolutely been over backwards to secure massages for us at the hotel. It was wonderful.

the Riad is a nicely decorated small inn in Tarifa....some of the staff are much easier to deal with than others....we rented a small room on the first floor....very quiet, except for people who live in the apartment above that room...the room is like sleeping in a Moroccan designed cave...not nearly enough lightning to see into your suitcase....the small window into the courtyard brings some light, if it's sunny...the room is quite small...the bathtub is at the foot of the bed...no curtain or glass door....water goes everywhere.. the sink is also in the main room...toilet cubicle was cleanish, but smelled like sewerage...there was a small courtyard to sit in which was nice, but water from plants all over the floor....first morning I did not see it and took a bad fall...2 days later, again another big puddle....the rooftop was CLOSED!!!! no kettle in room or a coffee and tea station for guests....I'm very surprised that it is ranked #1.....there is really no customer service at all...no one is there after 7pm and no one returns until 9am....room was cleanish....there was a large shelf next to stonewall that was constantly dirty...parking was 5 minutes away, but be prepared to lug it up a steep hill ...

Un tuffo negli ambienti marocchini tipici dei riad, la struttura è situata in un vicolo a ridosso della via principale, molto curata sia nelle parti comuni che nelle camere. Il profumo, il rumore dell’acqua, la musica, tutto invita al relax. Da migliorare la colazione servita in terrazza che è un po’ “essenziale”, per il resto tutto positivo, dall’accoglienza alla cittadina che è davvero incantevole.

We received a warm welcome to The Riad Tarifa and were graciously helped up the stairs to our room. The room, in this 17th century historic building, was modern, chic and simply gorgeous. The attention to detail in decor, amenities and comfort was absolutely incredible. The included breakfast was a bonus. Highly recommend.

Gracias “The Riad” a todos y cada uno de vosotros por haber creado un lugar de retiro, un lugar de relajación, donde descansar de las aventuras. En el centro de la medina de Tarifa, con una ubicación inmejorable. desde que llegas te embriagan los olores a incienso, la decoración con muchas pinceladas marroquís (nos encanta!!!), el sonido relajante del agua y sobretodo y ante todo, la gente bonita que trabaja aquí, lo mejor sin duda!! 🥰 Marisa, Tamara, recepción, desayunos, masajes, … toda la gente con la que nos hemos cruzado es un amor y nos ha hecho la estancia fácil y cómoda. Os deseamos larga vida para poder volver a disfrutaros!! ♥️

Había levante y el ruido que hacen los toldos es insoportable incluso con las ventanas cerradas. No pudimos dormir en toda la noche. Las ventanas son antiguas y dejan pasar el viento. La noche son 185€, inadmisible para esas condiciones. Nos ofrecieron un descuento pero si no descansas, ni gratis. La alfombra no dejaba abrir el armario y el relleno de las almohadas estaban llenas de bolitas. Tuvimos que anular la reserva y buscar otro sitio. Una decepción que nos fastidió bastante las vacaciones. Una pena porque teníamos mucha ilusión por las fotos. Desayuno nada especial.

Situado en zona bonita y tranquila del casco histórico, en edificio del siglo XVII, la casa del Comendador y a un paso de la zona de movimiento del centro. Decoración muy cuidada de tipo magrebí y de muy buen gusto; el patio con los divanes y los caños de agua, la alberca y la piedra de los muros es precioso y recogido. Habitación bien amplia y confortable, luminosa y aireada. Buen desayuno en terraza. Atención muy cercana, distendida, cordial y atenta. Precio correcto dada la calidad y el lugar. Pasamos una semana muy satisfactoria..

I absolutely loved this boutique hotel, the room and decor were fabulous and the staff - Serafin, Marisa, Georgina and Tamara were so pleasant and helpful. I had a massage there too which was fantastic- can’t wait to return. Thank you all.
