"Crackin find, we're currently travelling the south of Spain in our campervans searching for sun n warmth but only finding sun, and now only rain, so we decided to book into a hotel for a few nights to shelter from storm Ingrid so pulled into hotel La Torre to see if they had any availability, they did, so booked 4 nights, €50 a night for two adults, what a lovely clean hotel, receptionist girl spoke good English, our Spanish is fledgling but improving, she booked us in then proceeded to show us points around Tarifa that we might like to see or use, then showed to our room, it was lovely, very rustic in decor n a decent size, bed was comfortable, plug sockets either side which is important for us n most other hotels don't seem to have, bathroom is a good size and the water pressure fantastic and hot. We had a sun deck patio but never used it because of the storm, but can imagine it's lovely in summer with the veiws of the mountains behind the hotel, all in all a great stay."

"My friends and I really loved our stay in a 4 person tent, comfy double beds, a fridge & cute table to sit outside at. We were positioned at the end of a big row of tents so it was perfect, the tent was cool enough with the fan and also not as many bugs as expected but some ants in the tent but impossible not to have bugs outside camping!! The pool was nice but very crowded of course, would be good to open earlier than 12, breakfast at the onsite restaurant was good and cheap. They could do a delivery service and charge to the tent I think people would love it."

"Very amazing house. We came here by boat from Morocco. We signed up for a whale watching boat right after we got off the boat. We can walk to the hotel from the pier. The large rooftop platform has a great view. When the weather is good, you can see Africa. The front desk lady is very nice. Because there was a problem with the credit card and the pre-authorization could not be swiped, she waited for us to check in. We are very satisfied with the Ctrip lady who helped us negotiate. Although the breakfast is simple, it is super exquisite. I am very satisfied and it exceeded my expectations."

Rural Tarifa Beach Las Cabañas

"The location, the most amazing mountain views AND seaviews! The nature, all the animals peacefully grazing nearby (horses, donkeys, sheep, cows, pigs and incredible sightings of swarms of eagles!). The atmosphere was peaceful, regenerating and the hosts were amazing. They brought us all sorts of fresh fruit from their large orchard (oranges but also many other tyeps), just lovely and delicious. The house is fantastic! Huge, open plan, wonderfully cozy and with everything you could possibly need. The long wooden terrace is a jewel: morning coffee overlooking the spectacular landscape and also the evenings, with the moon and the silence. Just beautiful. I so highly recommend this place, it's in the best location. Just five minutes by car to the longest beach and wonderful for hiking up into the hills too! Tarifa is about 10 minutes away by car. Lovely little town with great bars, restaurants and shops. There's a definite surfer/kite-surfer vibe (those who know, know what I mean) and it's very cool. Even if you don't surf/kite-surf! Just to hang on the beaches and in the fab bars with the greatest music playing. It's totally relaxing and so enjoyable! Go there!"
