La Estrella de Tarifa
"We arrived to our destination and went up to the room. We noticed very quickly that the whole Hostel was very outdated. I stayed in this place many years ago and liked it, so I wanted to go back. The worst decision ever. The whole floor was full of black long hair in the whole room, the bathroom and inside the bathtub. I send immediately a message to the person that send us the instruction for check in and told them what happened. No answer. We went outside to have lunch and after a while I called and told them what happened and he said that the cleaning lady wasn't there anymore, but he could clean it. I said yes of course, but we are not in, so he can go ahead and clean it. I wouldn't go all the way back and wait for an hour for him to clean the place. I assume that have an extra key for those circumstances. He told me we had to be there, so we agreed that the next day he would return me some money for the inconveniences caused. After a week I called to ask about the return and they are telling me that I should have cancelled the booking to get a return. I am in shock how people can have a working Hotel, treating their clients like that. PLEASE DONT GO THERE, THE PLACE IS OLD, DIRTY AND THEY TREAT THEIR CLIENTS VERY BADLY. There are so many nice places in Tarifa to choose from."
Ohana Tarifa Hostel
"This hotel is very convenient to go to Morocco by boat and buy ferry tickets. There are many beautiful places nearby. There are many small shops. This hotel waiter is very friendly. There is hot water supply in the room. There is a place to rest. There is a sofa chair. The price is affordable. It is worth living here."
Alameda Hostal Boutique
"What a very pleasant hotel. We stayed here whilst visiting the tuna festival. The receptionist was polite and extremely helpful and the room was comfortable, fresh and modern. Location is superb - next to the port and centre of Tarifa. We would certainly stay here again next time we visit this lovely town."
Taiga Tarifa
"We have been good in general but the shops are not too big and there is no much storage place."
Hotel Tarifa Lances, a member of Radisson Individuals
"Excellent hotel Amazing value for money Close enough to town and easy to park on the street around the hotel"
Hotel la Peña
"The place has a magical atmosphere! The garden feels like a paradise in a sunny day! The room was very confy with a high level of cleanliness and both beds were well prepared. The distance to the beach and to downtown is short with a rented car. The service was good although only available in Spanish. The overall experience was excellent, so we will return!!! We definetly recommend it and we feel deeply grateful ^^"
Hotel & Spa la Residencia Puerto
"I didn’t like the room I had at first, so I changed to a better room and the service was very good. The hotel breakfast is also very good The location is very good, it is very convenient to go everywhere. There are many restaurants around"
El Levante
Hotel Copacabana Tarifa Beach
"The hotel really is a budget hotel, the pictures look nice, but in reality it's a 1 star hotel. We got conned into paying 200euros per night and it really wasn't worth it. The pool was empty, the staff at check in were rude, only the cleaners were nice "

"We're thrilled with our choice of hostel. The rooms are modern, spotless, and quiet. The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The location is perfect—you can easily walk everywhere. The beach and town center are just a short walk away. We'll definitely be back! 👍👍👍"
Eole Tarifa Rooms
"Interesting and authentic place, the patio area with fireplace is a standout feature of this hotel, it's advisable to contact the owner in advance to receive check-in instructions. In winter, the room is somewhat cool and wet."
Benali Guest House
Hotel la Torre
"Crackin find, we're currently travelling the south of Spain in our campervans searching for sun n warmth but only finding sun, and now only rain, so we decided to book into a hotel for a few nights to shelter from storm Ingrid so pulled into hotel La Torre to see if they had any availability, they did, so booked 4 nights, €50 a night for two adults, what a lovely clean hotel, receptionist girl spoke good English, our Spanish is fledgling but improving, she booked us in then proceeded to show us points around Tarifa that we might like to see or use, then showed to our room, it was lovely, very rustic in decor n a decent size, bed was comfortable, plug sockets either side which is important for us n most other hotels don't seem to have, bathroom is a good size and the water pressure fantastic and hot. We had a sun deck patio but never used it because of the storm, but can imagine it's lovely in summer with the veiws of the mountains behind the hotel, all in all a great stay."

"This is a lovely hotel. Beautiful gardens and lovely setting.Staff were very attentive and pleasant .Plenty of space to sit in peace around the bar area. Lovely pool too Breakfast buffet has a very good selection. Used the restaurant once while we're there lovely food good portions and good value.n The beach is a 5 mins walk from the hotel. A couple of negatives. No tea or coffee facilities in the room, also no way of getting drinks during the day. Bar opening rather late if you fancy a drink before dinner."

"Amazing staff, so so nice. Room was lovely and building was great too. Really nice little pool on the roof. Really good value for money. I must also say, the shower was incredible, it sounds silly but it was huge and the pressure was amazing; just what you want after a day on the beech!!"
El Cortijo de Zahara by QHotels
"Not really sure where to start! The whole experience has left me doubting my sanity. Check in - starts at 3pm but unable to gain access until 3.45pm due to cleaning; floor still wet on entry, resulting in 3 attempts to check in. Room - no mattress on the cabana, minibar consisted on 2 bottles of water, sofa rear support was broken. Hotel amenities - truly lovely, pool is amazing, reception central courtyard is stunning. Views down to the beach are outstanding. Skybar was closed. Food - very good standard although I would avoid the half board as very limited option. Breakfast provided a very wide ranging excellent buffet. Service - best described as awkward. As an example, I asked for some ice for room & informed it was not possible but then next day an ice bucket turns up. I believe a lot of this is down to the individual staff. Looked to have a late check out and despite a delayed check in, late check out was €10 an hour. Hoping the items above can be addressed and make this an excellent experience. Unable to recommend a stay at present"
Meliá Zahara Resort & Villas
"Very good overall. However, I believe the hotel is overpriced for the value it offers."
Convento Tarifa
"It should be a better accommodation in Tarifa."
El Asturiano
"Ferry was cancelled in Tarifa so I quickly booked this to stay the night. Realized I had booked the wrong night so went to the hotel. Locked up, no answer to s phone call. Sent a message asking them to cancel the booking and refund the charge...no response at all. Read other recent reviews and stay away"
