The worst hotel experience in Spain, the front desk was no one at 2 pm, but it was not stated on Ctrip. We arrived at night and could not find this hotel. In a narrow alley, navigate The address can only be directed to his main street, and he inquired about several locals before he found it. The door of the hotel was blocked by the local residents' car, thinking that the wrong place was found, the door was closed, and I thought I found the haunted house. The most boring is that the entrance to the main street in the area where the hotel is located is blocked by the locals with mobile isolation piers. If the car cannot enter, you must pull down one of the sticks before you can drive in. In the description of the hotel, we didn't write any details. We were around for more than an hour and didn't drive into the main street next to the hotel. It was windy and rainy at night, and I couldn't go back to the same intersection with the navigation. Finally, Ctrip customer service was coordinated at 10 o'clock in the evening. They found the hotel and waited for nearly 40 minutes before they came to open the door. There were no prompt calls and text on the door of the hotel, it was too pit. It took more than two hours before and after entering the hotel. The room was very tidal, dripping down, the basics of sleep did not sleep well, said that there is a parking lot, ask them customer service, tell me that the city is very small, parking spaces are few, not good stop. The only advantage is that it is three hundred meters away from the ferry terminal. If you go to the ship to Tangier, Morocco, it is more convenient. Ctrip's service is still very good, help me contact the hotel to open the door for me. But I really don't recommend this hotel. I don't write any details. How do foreigners find them? Let's take a look at my photos. In an alley, navigation is useless. There are several other hotels nearby. .
Hotel Zahara Beach by Q Hotels

This is a very good adults only hotel. We loved the location, across the road from the beach, within an easy walk to the village. We had a room at the back, so the road noise was negligible. The road was not busy in October anyway. Our balcony was completely private, which is what we asked for, but it had a view of a plowed field. If you have a room with a pool view, you will have a better sea view, but the balconies are overlooked and the swim-up rooms on the ground floor have no privacy at all and no sun in the morning. We were on a half-board basis and we liked the food. We would rate it as good to very good, with plenty of choices for vegetarians, not sure about vegans. Gluten free options were available. I brought my own organic eggs for breakfast and the chef did not bat an eyelid. He also remembered how I liked them cooked. The service in the restaurant was excellent. The wine was good and decently priced. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is pretty immaculate throughout and the housekeeping team is excellent. The guests are predominantly German, but we did not find it difficult to use English in the hotel. The hotel has a very peaceful vibe at all times. The pool area is blissfully quiet and so is every other shared area. The restaurant gets a bit busy at peak times, but we always found it relaxing and people were respectful of others. We had a car for the week and we always found parking outside the hotel easy. Zahara village is a modern, quite pleasant resort, with a reasonable selection of bars and restaurants. It is easy to visit beautiful Vejer (30 mins drive) and it is possible to have day trips to other places, like Tariffa, Cadiz, Jerez, Arcos and even Seville if you have a car. Atlanterra is also worth a visit, the beach there is stunning. We loved our local beach, but it was not great for swimming. The waves were quite big, as expected on the Atlantic coast from time to time. We did not experience any dangerous currents though. We did not use the spa. We thought that 25 euros an hour for the use of the indoor pool, the jacuzzi and the saunas was not good value for money. We have been to other Tui Blue hotels where the saunas were included in the package. Overall, we can highly recommend this excellent hotel.
Hostal Gravina

We booked into hostal gravina in Tarifa, it was our first visit to the area and we’re pleasantly surprised at the attention to detail and amenities for their customers. The rooms were spotless and they had a lift which was super as I am waiting on knee replacement I would recommend it to anyone and will be going back myself
Kook Hotel Tarifa

Beautiful hotel in the old town. Fresh fruit always out in lobby and also had a water cooler to refill our water bottles. Staff was super helpful and friendly. Less than 10 min walk to ferry. Tips- there is no parking at hotel and we arrived approx 7 pm. The first garage we went to was full as was parking at the ferry terminal. We finally got one of the last spots in the 2nd garage then that was full. So be cautious arriving late with a car. The streets are narrow and lit if one ways so if you can’t get into a garage it’s not that easy to circle back for another

nice and very comfortable place in our favorite part of Spain. we arrived in the fall of 2023 for 3 days to relax and go kiting. The wind in the region was very strong but inside the hotel it was calm. There is an indoor heated pool. we relaxed a lot by the large pool and enjoyed the view. wonderful parking. stunning interior. I would like to come back again as soon as possible. There are boat shops and services around. excellent concierge service. breakfasts and dinners.
