My experience was pleasant throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is great, right on Town Hall Square. The room was relatively clean with new amenities, although there wasn't a king size bed and we had to put two beds together. Breakfast is worth mentioning, with pancake, which I really liked, and very good yoghurt. It would have been a near perfect experience, but something incredible happened when I checked out. I missed a handbag in the room because of the large amount of luggage. I returned to the hotel two hours later to enquire and was told that "nothing other than RUBBISH was left in the room", which I was shocked to hear, as the bag contained at least one whole cigarette (which my friend had commissioned me to buy from a Chinese duty free shop), a whole box of Chinese tea, a bag of expensive Chinese hot pot base, some chocolates and other items! . I didn't call the police for time reasons, but I chose to publicise this fact here, which I think is a shame for any hotel.

The staff is always friendly and efficient. Breakfast is plentiful and variety is great. The rooms are comfortable and I always get a good night’s sleep. The spa is relaxing and the gym is sufficiently equipped for a good workout. Would highly recommend this place!

Perfect place to rest while being at the city center to visit. The sauna and pool were the top on the icing! The design of the rooms is very beautiful

It was a pleasant surprise that you could register to the room online in advance. The receptionist was warm and friendly, we got the door cards from the reception. We stayed in the Meer suite. Immediately upon entering the room, there was a wow feeling. The room was spacious and tastefully furnished, the small lovely balcony with a view of the street exceeded our expectations. I really liked that there were 2 sinks and a bathtub in the room. The spa was the best thing about this hotel. It was nicely dim and cozy and private too. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast selection and were very satisfied with everything. We would definitely like to visit Hotel Lydia again soon.

Hosted a tiny wedding at the restaurant and stayed the night in the suite. Amazing visit, very kind and professional service and the food at the restaurant was a class on its own. I think there is no other place in Tartu with such good service as Hõlm and Lydia.

Very nice hotel with cozy spa! Rooms are clean and modern, not so small, beds and pillows comfortable. The only remark was regarding breakfast, the food served was not so warm, as I was expecting it to be, but the variety of choices solved this problem!

Perfect location in the city. It's a stylish hotel with very comfy beds. Rooms are very clean, very good breakfast, staff is also super helpful and friendly. Spa is small but has 3 saunas and pool, very cosy. Perfect! Definitely will be back.

Amazing rooms, everything is clean and neat. Spa was small, but had everything for adults and for a good time. Also, nothing were broken and the anniversary surprise was the most delightful. The food is to die for! Stuff is very helpful, friendly, always smiling and warm. Thank you very much for the experience, we have found our new favorite hotel.
