Highly recommended. It was such a great place to stay. Extremely clean & neat with very friendly & helpful team. Thank you so much, will most definately stay there again.

The boss enthusiastically introduced the scenery around Lake Taupo. The room was comfortable and clean, the lake view was amazing, the price/performance ratio was very high, and it was a perfect experience.

The resort is right on the beach, separated by a road. Although there is no sea view, the room is quite comfortable. The receptionist is full of energy. There is a heated swimming pool in the hotel. The room is relatively large. It is good to cook your own meals in the kitchen at night.

A motel with a swimming pool. The manager was very friendly and waited for us to check in until 11 o'clock.

It was clean and very nice. It was even better because there were no people in the pool.

We had a lovely stay at the Anchorage Resort. We had the room above the reception area and the views were amazing! The hot tub was also wonderful in the evening.

Very friendly staff and spacious rooms, it's bit noisy at times but can’t expect to much quiet. Pool is convient especially with kids. Overall it’s a beautiful property

We had a wonderful time at this Resort. Peter and Claris were great hosts, very helpful and friendly. Beaut little spot, everything was there. Great rooms, lovely spa and swimming pool. We went as a family group and would definitely go back again.

This hotel just out of Taupo is a great place to stay to get away from the tourist trap and it's only a short distance to the city. The view of the lake is right in front, the hot spa is perfect, the service was friendly and efficient. The room was great, bed comfortable, facilities just right. But it does need an upgrade - very tired looking. Would still recommend for a stay.
