Great location—right in the city, convenient for getting around, with everything you need nearby. The room was spacious and stayed warm during winter. Towels, full bathroom amenities, plus tea and milk were provided.

Great place for a family stay. We have stayed every timr we visited Taupo and it has always been good. Place had some work taking place but nothing affected our stay.

The service was great, the best thing was they have kitchen. You can cook whatever ever want also nice dining room was the best environment, I love ❤️ it.

It was fine for a basic place to sleep and shower - reflected in the price. The room was nice and warm when we arrived which was fantastic during winter, but then we had no way to turn it off during the night so it was very hot and noisy.

I booked Silver Fern Lodge for April 21 expecting to charge my electric vehicle, but there were no EV charging facilities. I had to book another place last minute and wasn’t given a refund, even after cancelling. The room was clean and the location is central, but the lack of flexibility and EV support was disappointing. Not ideal for electric car travelers.

Very clean amenities, staff were very helpful. Community kitchen is a great idea and we’ll set out with all utensils needed to cook a meal. Would definitely recommend the Silver Fern to anybody.
