Beach Hotels in Tauranga

Advantages: Fully equipped (cooking, laundry), large space. At the foot of the mountain, you can see a little sea view (blocked by the front twin towers), there are many small restaurants in 5 minutes walk. Disadvantages: parking must first check-in, he gives you the key, then go to the next garage to enter the seat, when you come out, you have to get off to open the garage door. Check out the need to take the garbage away, this price hotel is still a surprise to me, the introduction of the reservation did not mention this. Perhaps he positioned himself as a short-term rental apartment, but did not make it clear.

[Location] The location of the hotel is north of the city of Tauranga, but it is not far away, which is about 800m. [Service] The service is okay, because I arrived early, I ordered coffee in the lobby and waited for a while. After that, the front desk got the room card to find you and said the room was Ready. [Health] Overall good [Facilities] The hotel does not have sound insulation at all. The super noisy facilities are too old, but it does not break. The hotel does not provide toothbrushes and slippers. It only provides shampoo conditioner and soap. If necessary, you can ask at the front desk. (I bring my own toiletries and slippers) The air conditioner has a serious noise. The position of the plug is not provided on the bed. It is too inconvenient to go to the charging bathroom under the TV. The design of the washstand in the bathroom is particularly shallow and old-fashioned. I stayed at this property for a night when travelling on the road. It was my second stay at this property though the previous stay was a decade ago. This time I stayed at a suite for the night. The suite was spacious with a good layout and split between the living area and the bedroom. I was able to do some work, eat, chill out and sleep within the suite nicely. The suite also had a very small balcony though it was just overlooking the back of several buildings around . Staff at the hotel was attentive and efficient, though staying there only for one night meant my encounters with staff was limited. I enjoyed my stay at this property and will consider staying here if I visit Tauranga again in the future.

Let me talk about the location first, the location is better to find, just on the side of the road, there is a clear sign, parking in the backyard, free, suitable for self-driving personnel. The surrounding area is not far from the supermarket and gas station. Let's talk about the environment, the entire hotel is older, but the room is very large and clean, the bed is very comfortable. The facilities are also relatively new. The only downside is that there is no microwave oven...

I stayed in room 002, ground floor. This was a two bedroom apartment (I was upgraded). It was spacious, and clean and tidy. I've stayed in Quests from Auckland to Invercargill and this was one of the best. I book serviced apartments when I travel so I can prepare my own food. Often the kitchens are quite poorly equipped. Maybe there's no sieve, or no tin opener, or no vegetable peeler. This one had everything I needed for once! And they passed my personal acid test: the iron was completely free of burn marks! The staff at Quest kindly took my supermarket delivery order and even put things in the freezer and fridge as appropriate (I've had other places leave frozen food to thaw). It's quiet and well positioned for the centre of town. Unlimited WiFi is a real plus. I'm not much of a TV watcher but there seemed to be a full Sky service.

We stayed 1 night at this motel. The room looked like it had been renovated recently-ish. It was bright, simple and clean. The bathroom was quite good as it had a seperate room for the toilet. The motel had assigned parking. The parking spots were a bit small and I would be concerned if someone brought a big car to park there as they might find it difficult The squeeze around parked cars. Staff were friendly too.

The location is very good as it is located downtown. The facilities are average (there are so many places with great facilities. Haha) I used it well this time.

Everything was ideal for our stay at the motel. We arrived without a booking due to complications with another booking we had made in town and Lorraine and Athol found us alternative accommodation until they had a vacancy for us. We found the unit spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The daily servicing was carried out by very friendly staff. The location is within easy walking distance to the CBD to enjoy the variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and an easy drive to the fabulous beaches at the Mount and Papamoa beaches. We will definitely stay there again and recommend the Harbour View Motel as a great place to stay. Thanks, Lorraine and Athol.

Pros: CBD convenient location, tidy, spacious, friendly staff, free parking. You can just leave the car at the motel and walk every to go for dinner. Room has nice spa bath. I accidently left my phone and they sent it back to me. Cons: Some family rooms are connected to the next rooms with lockable door. The door is not sound proofed so we could hear the neighbor's very loud snoring and coughing all night. (Another time we stayed we did not have this issue because there was no connecting door) If you want milk you have to ask for it or they will not give it to you. Issues were minor and we would stay again.
