Très belle terrasse sur le toit. Accueil très chaleureux. Chambre familiale très confortable. Une des chambre avait une terrasse. Emplacement central à tavira. Petit déjeuner copieux et très varié. Stationnement à proximité de l hôtel.

Unfortunate Storm of great magnitude on my last evening which caused a great deal of water seepage in the bedrooms, which didn’t bother me, some customers complained but the locals were grateful for…..water is very precious here! 👍
Good selection at breakfast although because of the heavy rain, some deliveries didn’t make it the final morning. 😢
I would certainly stay here again, good value for money!
P.S. Hotel is situated opposite to Ferry Point to the Golden Sands of Praia di Tavira! 😎🌞👍

If you like quaint and old fashioned but with all the modern conviences this is the place for you I know some reviews say it should be brightened up and re tiled in places but not so I feel it adds to its charm the staff here were really nice and pleasant the rooms were cleaned and towels changed every day Lots hot water great pressure in the shower beautiful roof terrace with lovely views the location excellent the breakfast was in my opinion perfectly adequate to cater for all tastes we had dinner here 2 evening and really enjoyed it but just to make people aware it is two stories we did 36 steps from our room 2nd floor to street level there is no lift so if people had mobility issues this is not the hotel for them other that that amazing ambiance really enjoyed

Fabulous Portuguese property in the heart of Tavira. Our two rooms had balconies with a view over the river, beautiful spot.
Room service was excellent and the front desk staff were most knowledgeable about the area, its sights, and its services. We would definitely return again for a couple more warm sunny weeks in January.

Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were small but clean. Enjoyed sitting out on the little balcony. Excellent location very close to restaurants, cafes, shops. The ferry to the Ilha de Tavira is across the street.

Thank you very much for an excellent week at Residencial Marés. My cousin and I shared one of your first floor "River View Rooms" - excellent!! We really appreciated the room, the service, the breakfast and your evening restaurant as well - not to forget your fantastic roof terrace where it was lovely to have a glass of wine at the end of a long, warm day. We look forward to our next stay!!

Gastvrij en klantvriendelijk personeel. Hotel is ondergebracht in een authentiek pand, dat vroeger te maken had met de visserij. Gebouw heeft veel trappen en geen lift. Dus je moet wel spierballen hebben om je koffers boven te krijgen. Ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid!
