Communal Hotel Sololaki

Amazing hotel with amazing staff. Rooms are very spacious and comfy. They gave us breakfast for free once and got as a gift for our birthday. Tamta is amazing with all her help and support. Advise everyone to come to this place. You will love it. Excellent location and best place

Stayed at the Communal Sololaki, and man! It was a great decision. The place, ambience, aesthetics, music, and our host Tamta was so full of warmth. Loved our stay there and would definitely recommend it to others! I’m definitely visiting there again soon :)

A truly magnificent experience staying at the Sololaki property. Tamta and staff really made the stay a feeling like home away from home - they are really attentive to your needs and questions, the fast WhatsApp communications were a delight in times of quick recommendations while you are soaking in what the city offers. The property is located in a wonderful part of the city, quiet yet so near to all the attractions, restaurants and cafes. The communal breakfast is a great idea to connect not just with fellow guests at the hotel but also to connect with the Hotel Team - felt like having breakfast at home, something that I looked forward to every morning. A great stay and I can't wait to be back. Thank you to Tamta and Team at the Hotel!

I would love to come back to this place

This is a hotel that does not have an idea what does a hospitality mean!! Couples from Tbilisi, visiting Telavi branch, who did talk with hotel’s official administration via their official social media accounts, has been rejected to enter the booked suites, because they were not booked!! The mistake that was obviously coming from hotel’s staff member has not been acknowledged by hotel’s manager, she simply said “unfortunately we can’t do anything but search some other hotels in Telavi we’re you might find a free room to stay” , no “we are very sorry, we will momentarily find a best stay for you in another hotel and pay the price difference as a gesture for such inconvenience you faced by coming that long way from Tbilisi to Telavi” or did not even offered a free dinner at their hotel, nothing!!! She just said it’s not in their policy to compensate such a misunderstanding to their guests, not to mention that we are loyal guests who have been staying at their hotels in Tbilisi so many times!! Well congratulations Communal hotels, you have lost your loyal guests in return to your perfect hospitality and acknowledgement of your mistakes!!

Great location in quirky old part of Tbilisi. I had a very cool and stylish room with comfortable bed. This hotel has lovely and attentive staff and service is impeccable. They are well prepared for challenging flight times. And one should not forget the delicious breakfast.

Lovely hotel on the outskirts of Sololaki/Tbilisi with not much traffic on the street! Small but beautiful room and very kind and helpful staff, Tamta! The breakfast was a treat! All the guests shared one big table that was set with yoghurt, fresh and dried fruits, cakes, bread, cheese, eggs, vegetables, orange juice, coffee/tea etc. Everything was presented as a beautiful painting. Such a lovely idea to share the breakfast table with the other guests! We wish we had stayed several more days! We are ever so grateful to Tamta who helped us, late in the evening after we had arrived, when we discovered that my husband had forgotten his gore-tex jacket and cap at the hotel in Sighnaghi. The owner of that hotel was in contact with Tamta, and sent the jacket and cap by marschrutka all the way from Sighnaghi to Tbilisi. In Tbilisi, Tamta/Communal Hotel Sololaki, organized a taxi to pick up the clothes from the marschrutka station and deliver it to us at the hotel, one day before we left Georgia. We really loved our stay at Communal Hotel Sololaki. It’s a very stylish, clean and modern building, located on a quiet and convenient street near Old Town. The breakfast was excellent and had a ton of options including eggs made to order. Our favorite part was Tamta — she was very attentive and helpful, and even had some great recommendations to check out in the neighborhood. We definitely recommend staying here!
