"The hotel staff where friendly and polite but there was a lot of small issues. 1. Beside the fridge and kettle, there was only 1 plug, you had to unplug one to use the other. 2. In the room, a strip of tile had become unstuck from the floor, it was unsightly and you could easily cut yourself on the rough edges if walking around the room bare foot. Management should have taken care of this. 3. Everyday, we were awoken to loud music from the room next door. That's not the hotels fault per say, except to mention, maybe the walls are paper thin or this truly was the guest from hell. 4. On our last day, the hotel appeared to run out of hot water. The size of the room is not what was shown on the picture and I can't see how the hotel gained 4 stars. Probably 3* is a fair and accurare based on our room. The Wifi was excellent and the location is close to a lot of shops and things to do nearby so I feel it has both good and points and guests shouldn't be completely put off by my niggles."

"It was really terrible 👎. The hygiene was poor, the service was bad, there was discrimination against Chinese people, the amenities were subpar, the hotel was old, and communication with the hotel was fruitless. Choose this hotel with caution. The photos are for reference only; the actual hotel isn't as good. The breakfast selection was also limited. It's quite a distance from Liberty Square. Those traveling independently without a car should avoid this hotel, as it's located halfway up a hill, which is very inconvenient, and there are few restaurants nearby."

The only minor issue was the weak water pressure in the shower. The service was very good, and the breakfast was impeccable. The hotel itself was clean and tidy."
