My partner and I booked this hotel for 3 weeks as a base for our vacation in Tblisi, Georgia. When we arrived, the hotel actually appeared closed. Contrary to the listing, they owners do not speak English. We had requested a room with a queen size bed but instead we were given a room with 2 single beds. The room had no view and was "very tired" looking. We again requested a room with a large bed but were told it would be more money. At that point it was decided we would not stay. Up to then, things were amicable. We called our cab driver to take us elsewhere. As we were about to depart, the owner came out and angrily announced that we has to pay a $100 cancelation fee. When we refused, he began to scream at us and threatened to call the police. I offered to pay him $50 and he reluctantly agreed. I need to be very clear. This place is totally misrepresented. It is snappy, tired and dusty. If you don't speak Georgian or Russian there little hope of communicating. The neighborhood is likewise depressing and has little in the way of amenities. I travel a great deal. Avoid this place like Covid. BTW, the owner reported to *********** that he had canceled the reservation for free. Need I say more?
