We choose the hotel for having a chill day with beautiful views and swimming pool in our 2 weeks Journey around the country. Did not expect luxury but a modest and decent accommodation. What we got was a room with the 'garden view' that is a bush and a trash laying Under our micro balloons, with no view. Also, our Air condiotioder got broken (some electricity Issues with melted socket) and even though we figured out how to temporarily Fix it, we asked the stuff to send an electritian who could look into this as there were no fire safety measures in the room - noone came. Also don't expect to have room comodities listed on Booking. In the morning the neighbor's dog was barking since 5 am and though we had a wake up at this time as the closed Windows did not help. Pool is just next to the road, hotel is dirty and old. Breakfast is decent.

This is a very worthwhile hotel-interesting-artsy and classical. The rooms in the older part are small, the more modern part is exactly that. A charming library, roof top and main floor pools, a roof courtyard and an outside courtyard. We would go back. The hotel kitchen is excellent and the service is pleasant with indoor or outdoor dining. Our service manager Fritzner Laraque was superb and gave a positive feel the experience. Spring break really negatively affects the neighbourhood as masses of raucous party people disturb the calm and beauty of the boardwalk, the beach and the streets. Choose your dates wisely and you will have a lovely home for a few days. Roger

The hotel is a scam! We had booked a suite with two bedrooms and a living room due to traveling as a family. When we arrived, we were forced to pay before seeing the room. We were taken to the room which was not at all what we had booked. It looked nothing like the pictured and only had one bedroom instead of two. Instead of admitting that the room did not correspond with what we had booked, the manager refused to cancel our reservation and give us our money back. Instead he squeezed a travel bed into the living room and argued that this was the room we had booked. *********** partially refunded our stay because of the scam. The hotel looks nothing like the pictures, so we would strongly advise people from booking at this hotel.
