Nice place with friendly staff. It does have some rough spots but is clean, comfortable, well equipped and pretty quiet. We at no time were concerned about our security/safety but if you have concerns (such as traveling alone) just be aware that some of the windows would need to be kept closed/locked.

Prima rustig gelegen motel aan een meer op loopstand van het toeristenbureau die tours verzorgd naar o.a. bekende watervallen en van het winkelcentrum en restaurants van het dorp. Woonkamer met keuken, 2 slaapkamers en ruime nette badkamer met douche. Vriendelijk personeel.

A great place to stay before driving to Milford Sound. We had a lovely welcome from the receptionist who showed us to our room. A short drive into town for plenty of dining options for dinner. The kitchen was well equipped. Nice big bathroom, a ventilation fan would be helpful. Good value for money and would stay again.

Es beginnt mit einem überaus freundlichem Empfang und einer Gratisflache Frischmilch. Unser Studio war perfekt ausgestattet, die Betten bequem und die Lage ruhig. In zwei Minuten kann man zu Fuß ans Seeufer. Und für das Auto gibt es den reservierten Parkplatz direkt vor der Eingangstür.

Cleanliness - nice and compact unit. We arrived late in the evening and were pleased to see that there was a note at the reception letting us know which unit was reserved for us. Staff were friendly. The property location is short distance from main shopping area. Quiet & comfortable.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a little walk to the lake and town but overall it’s in a good location. The units are looking old and tired and the level of cleanliness around bed linen is not great. I don’t want to pull back the sheets and find other people’s hair on them! We stayed there 2 nights with a one night break in between and the second night was fine. So perhaps it was a once off. I don’t think I’d stay here again though.
