Leider wurde unser Urlaub nach Weihnachten durch ein schreckliche Suit getrübt. Diese befand sich im Untergeschoss und ist für ein Zimmer dieser Kategorie das letzte. Die Straße verläuft ca. 1 Meter vor der Suit auf Augenhöhe, entsprechend laut war es in dem Zimmer, so dass man das gefühlt hatte die Autos, Busse oder LKWs fahren direkt durch das Zimmer „Suit“. Wenn man aus der Suit blickte schaute man direkt auf eine schräg verlaufende Betonmauer sowie direkt auf den Straßenbelag. Das Personal war mehr oder weniger bemüht den Umstand zu lösen. Eine Defekte Tür wurde erst am zweiten Tag nach mehrmaliger Beschwerde repariert, dauerte durch einen Techniker keine Minute, warum man dann so lange warten musste sei mal dahin gestellt. Insgesamt lies der Service zu wünschen übrig. Das Wasser im Pool war kalt und damit für Kinder eher ungeeignet. Das Frühstück am Morgen kostete stolze 35 € dafür hat man ein Frühstück erhalten was in Ordnung war, allerdings erwartet man für so einen Preis eigentlich ein „First Class“ Frühstück. Wir werden nach dieser Enttäuschung sehr wahrscheinlich nicht noch mal Gast dieses Hotels werden. Wir hatten uns mehr von einem Hotel der Mariott Gruppe erwartet, gerade bei der Zimmer Kategorie haben wir so was noch nie erlebt.

Das Hotel ist neu und sehr schön eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön - groß und sauber. Die Lage ist top.
Der Service ist jedoch nicht gut geschult.
Der Spa Bereich ist zu klein für das große Hotel. Der Pool ist zu kalt.
Die Kosten für die Tiefgarage hätten bei Beginn des Aufenthalts mitgeteilt werden sollen.

Wir hatten einen rundum schönen Aufenthalt im Caro & Selig. Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtete und blitzblank sauber (einzig das offene Bad ist vielleicht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig). Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Frühstück empfanden wir als sehr gut. Der Spa Bereich ist klein aber fein. Als kleine Kritikpunkte sehen wir den sehr kalten Pool (insbesondere für die Jahreszeit) und die schwierige Temperaturregelung des Zimmers. Alles in allem würden wir wiederkommen.

Gym zwar klein und wenig Geräteauswahl, aber hochwertig
- Service schlecht / Sauberkeit äußerst fragwürdig: Mitarbeiter des Personals (welcher weder gut Deutsch noch Englisch sprach) geht wohl auf unserem Zimmer auf die Toilette, welche nicht gereinigt wurde / Kaffeetassen werden mit dem Finger im Waschbecken kurz ausgespült / Schuhabdruck in Dusche / Versifftes Handtuch / Tablett mit riechenden Essensresten von Nachbarzimmer werden innerhalb von 24 Stunden nicht entfernt, wir mussten hier erst nachfragen, obwohl Personal mehrmals vorbeilief / Versifftes Handtuch
- Matratze sehr hart
- Tiefgarage für 24 Euro und Frühstück für 35 Euro (pro Person) pro Tag (Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe kosten 5 Euro pro Tag)
- SPA-Bereich: Saunen sehr klein / Zu wenig Liegen / Extrem laut aufgrund Vielzahl von spielenden Kindern / Kinder in Sauna und Dampfbad (die dort teilweise auch gegen Scheibe klopften), obwohl Zugang erst ab 16 Jahre / Mitarbeiter fühlen sich nicht verantwortlich / Keine Handtücher im SPA-Bereich (wohl aufgrund von Schwierigkeiten mit Reinigungsfirma)

Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Sehr nette, engagierte Mitarbeiter, besonders am Empfang (junger Mann aus Bonn) und im Frühstücksservice. Es wird jeder Wunsch erfüllt. Wir kamen ohne Reservierung und haben ein traumhaftes Zimmer erhalten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in January, 2024. It was one of the very best experiences we had while staying in Germany! The room, food, amenities property and location were incredible with gorgeous mountain and lake views. What was most impressive, however, was the staff - all of them! I would like to specifically commend Marcus - the young man at the desk who took time and went out of his way to help us on several occasions. In addition, the staff in the roof NI BAR (rooftop terrace bar), including (I believe) the manager were absolutely fantastic! He arranged for an exceptional romantic evening with a wonderful fondue dinner inside the cozy heated glass house on the rooftop. The views at sunset were spectacular and the twinkling lights in the dark were magical! The breakfast food and service in the Freyheit Restaurant was one of the best of any Autograph that we have stayed at (and they are all pretty amazing). We were impressed beyond belief and thank them for creating some of the best memories of a lifetime!
