an absolute scene of beauty, with the most upheld rooms and staff alike. the food was exquisite. This hotel goes beyond to ensure a high level of satisfaction. My husband is very picky when it comes to first appearances, both the building and front of house. We will certainly be coming back next year

It is a beautiful building in a beautiful setting. The staff were great, the dinner excellent. Nothing was a problem. The only comment I would make, is that the company need to invest in the driveway. There are drops on either side of the narrow tarmac *****, which itself has several pot holes. One day someone will break a spring, and it will cost the hotel money!

Our family room was a reasonable size with ample space for the three of us. The staff on arrival were very nice and reasonable safety measures in place due to the current situation.

Exteria facard of the building is lovely. The guest rooms need to have money spent on them. Could employ a better housekeeper who would ensure the rooms were cleaned properly.
Breakfast was okay but only just warm. Not much selection if you didn't want a full breakfast

I booked a Superior Double Room the photos at booking showed a High Ceiling Room, Grand Four Poster Bed Open Fire and Deluxe Bathroom, What you get is an Attic Room with the softest singular most uncomfortable poor quality double divan bed with badly fitted sheet, no bedside tables and a scruffy bathroom. Very disappointing and bad in fact shocking value for money. Don't get ripped off stay somewhere else!
