Where to begin with this one?
Firstly i requested to cancel as i was coming down with COVID like symptoms. Ramada Telford seem to not mind that though, so that request was denied (no offer of another stay, or partial refund, nothing).
Felt better day of, and decided to travel. On check-in (nor on the website, photo attached) i wasn't told anything about the pool being out of service. Turns out it was. No offer of a full or partial refund. Nothing. Luckily, Trip have stepped in with a good will gesture.
Spoke to some people (named below) by email afterwards and basically told "nothing they can do" and "it's trip's fault" that the website didn't reflect that their pool had been out of action since DECEMBER.
Awful customer service, facilities not available. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

Comfortable stay in a useful location. All members of staff were helpful and polite. The room was comfortable and clean. Little noise from the corridor, though there was an echo down from the bathroom above, so we could hear the gentleman in the room above whenever he used the loo. Thought this was more amusing than annoying. Would stay again.

It had different menus for vegan and gluten free. The staff were helpful too. I was left in peace when I was waiting for a lift.

Clean and smart looking hotel definitely recommend fast internet access free use of gym and pool within the price. Just perfectly situated close to shops and bars. Again highly recommended.

A nice hotel with friendly and accommodation staff, the room looked like it had recently been decorated and was very nice and clean, as was the bedding. The selection of drinks at the bar needs reviewing, as a beer drinker there is only Camden pale ale, while okay is not particularily a good beer, perhaps a notable brewer like Tetley or John Smiths. Like wise the lagers too!
