The breakfast buffet was closed after 10 o'clock, which we were not told before, and some dishes required extra pay. The swimming pool was not as good as expected but acceptable. The overall layout of the room was good and the garden outside the window was also beautiful.

We booked a superior garden view deluxe twin room, but the hotel arranged this double bed room for us. We communicated twice and finally contacted Ctrip to call the hotel to solve it. The hotel itself is stunning and perfectly located as it is private but only 10-15 minutes from Bath City Centre. The grounds are fantastic but unfortunately the other reviews are true in the sense the Spa needs a renovation as I find it likely the pool tiles have been the same since reopening in 2007 and you can see it. Nevertheless if You can get a deal it is worth it!
