The Rabbit Hotel & Retreat

My husband booked this as a birthday surprise and it was perfect. We were in a snug room, which wasn't very small at all. The room was clean, had a lovely coffee machine, Bluetooth radio and TV. Bed and pillows were so comfortable. We did the spa, with a rasul clay treatment- all was so relaxing and enjoyable. The highlight of our stay was the food, we like to eat out a lot but we both agree this is one of the best meals we have ever had. I find it difficult to get nice dairy free main courses, but the dairy free prawn and chicken risotto was delicious. Orla, our server was great too, very friendly and attentive. We would recommend this to anyone for a lovely romantic night away. We'll be back.

Went for a last minute spa day with one of the girls , the staff were above and beyond . Our waitress Orla was amazing and so attentive , an absolute pleasure throughout . When we got into the spa facilities we met a lovely girl named Rachel who was an absolute star and went out of her way to make sure we were looked after . Really couldn’t fault anything throughout the day , Danny made sure we wanted for nothing while enjoying our time in the amenities inside . Left feeling relaxed and privileged to have been there , definitely looking forward to the next time I visit ! Highly Recommend ☺️

This hotel is a sister hotel of Galgoram but don't compare it to the Galgoram. It's a different place. The spa is lovely but not nearly as big. The room we stayed in was nice, it had an outdoor bath and stove. The decor in the room was in keeping with the rest of the hotel, a bit alternative but we liked it. The grounds were very well kept although I'd say there was a blocked drain near the lower jacuzzi at the spa. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and the food was very tasty. We did find that drinks were a bit pricey. One thing, the lower corridor with rooms 001 onwards would need some soundproofing around the doors. We could hear every word being spoken from early morning and there was a trolley being pushed that was very loud. It's a nice destination for couples and Belfast is a short drive away.

Dreadful experience. Room was very overpriced given there is a cheap television system and no air-conditioning. The room temperature was 25 degrees and we could not set the setting any lower. When we complained to reception she told me that no hotel in the Galgorm group has air conditioning installed yet they are blazingly charging two times Holiday Inn prices, some of which have air conditioning. We were given a fan. Not good enough for a £250 room. Drinks are over-priced too. Whole layout is unsuitable for people with walking difficulties - too many levels both internally and at external entrances with steps - Im surprised it is compliant with Disabled Legislation.

I was Father of the Bride at her Wedding Reception. The entire experience at The Rabbit was exceptional. Every staff member was really helpful, the service went above and beyond. The Food was excellent; The Loft is a wonderful venue. A wonderful weekend, thank you.

We stayed on the ground floor and there was a strong smell of drains from the moment we walked into our room and throughout our stay. Avoid the ground floor rooms if you can. The rooms are dark and ours more than usual as a couple of bulbs were out and the ceiling fan didn’t work (warm night). The spa area is excellent and worth the trip. The food is good but not excellent. The restaurant team are friendly but a bit oblivious (wrong food brought, unaware of inclusive tariff rules for guests etc). More training needed is all. On checkout the receptionist wanted to charge us for dinner (which was included). A bit disorganised but a nice place apart from the pervasive smell of drains in our room.

Very warm welcome by efficient friendly staff . Able to check in a bit earlier which was a bonus.Fabulous venue for a family wedding with excellent facilities and great staff . Lovely comfortable clean rooms . Excellent all round stay for two nights .

We only called in for lunch as we were early for the airport. Place is very clean and staff are attentive. We had the chilli chicken/ rice and Salmon dishes were very good. You get a free tiny glass of beer (a mouth full really) or a certain soft drink. It was just under £50 including a beer and a soft drink.

Overall, lovely hotel, the Spa is lovely, nice treatment, lovely staff Food is very bad, both dinner and breakfast where a complete let down Paid for a certain room, checked in, went up to the room, wasn't the room we ordered and when we went down they said 'oh yes we over sold those rooms', very disappointing. Florence is beautiful!!
