Sakaeya Hotel

The room was exactly as pictured, clean, and had a great view. It was quiet and peaceful, which I appreciated. All amenities were as described. There was an additional 300 yen charge for the onsen, but it was acceptable. The staff were polite and punctual. Everything was perfect as advertised. The location is good, although driving is required. It's close to restaurants, a Max Value supermarket, and a Starbucks. Overall, the room was exactly as advertised.

The hotel is nicely decorated, giving it a simple and bright feel. The beds are comfortable, and the rooftop overlooks the hot springs. However, the food and beverages are disappointing and taste terrible. I recommend staying overnight.

The location was great, close to supermarkets and roadside stations. I only stayed on a bed-and-breakfast plan, so I don't know about the food, but the room was clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. I enjoyed both the indoor bath and the open-air bath with a view.

This is a quaint hot spring hotel with friendly staff. The breakfast and dinner are of good quality. The rooms are large and the view is beautiful. There is a 24-hour supermarket nearby, which is very convenient.

The hot springs are very nice. The tatami I slept on was a bit cold at first, but the hotel has an antique feel and atmosphere. When I returned to the room after soaking in the hot springs, the corridor lights were green at night, which was a bit weird and scary. This hotel is very cost-effective.

The location of the hotel is pretty good. There are local product stores, drugstores and supermarkets next to it. Very convenient for people who like to go shopping Starbucks is also next door. If you want to buy a souvenir, there are many options. The service in the hotel is very friendly. The only drawback is that the facilities in the hot spring house are relatively simple compared to other hot spring hotels. But overall it’s a worthy place to stay

Gros coup de coeur sur le bain en plein air qui permet d'admirer les montagnes environnantes tout en se relaxant. Il y a également un grand bain au rez-de-chaussée avec vue sur un jardin bien fleuri. L'établissement est situé juste à côté d'un supermarché et dispose d'une salle commune avec four micro-ondes pour un repas économique, mais il y a également un restaurant pour ceux qui veulent profiter au maximum de l'expérience ryokan. Le personnel ne parle pas vraiment anglais mais utilise un traducteur pour communiquer sans problème. La chambre était parfaite, très calme et économique par rapport à la qualité des lieux. Personnellement j'ai aussi aimé le charme rétro des téléphones. On peut aller facilement en bus au temple Yama-dera, ou bien à Ginzan onsen et dans le centre ancien de Yawagata. Personnellement je suis descendue à la gare de Yamagata pour visiter le centre ancien, puis j'ai été dormir à l'hôtel Sakaeya, et le lendemain j'ai été en bus au temple Yama-dera puis à Ginzan-onsen : je recommande Tendo comme étape pour dormir, vous profiterez de thermes de qualité et les tarifs sont beaucoup plus abordables que Ginzan onsen.
