Our stay here was amazing. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained, its location gives an incredible view of the mountains and the town. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is fantastic. And finally, the staff is very professional, helpful and friendly!

We were so excited to stay at the Presidential Suite after we climbed Pico de Orizaba. The deck is large with a breathtaking view and large tub with jets. The staff wasn’t very friendly but we don’t really need fancy service. We ate at the restaurant on our first night with poor service and very overpriced food. It went downhill after we returned the following day from hiking the ruins and exploring the town on a hot and dusty day around 2 pm to find there wasn’t any water. We couldn’t shower or use the tub on the deck. We are reasonable people and just waited 30 min and then contacted management. We were given the run around for over an hour. They offered us a late check out for our inconvenience which was laughable. There was water working on the property, from the lobby to the kitchen. They lied to us and said the main water pump to the town was broken. We ended up not showering and still having a wonderful time at the Las Calaquitas Mezcalería and Margarita Concept. We returned to still not have running water at the end of the night. I can’t recommend this hotel despite the beautiful hotel and views. Do not waste your time.

Stayed for my last night in Mexico after 6 weeks of travelling. Wish I had stayed here longer. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. So peaceful, but just a very short walk to the town (on a small hill for anyone with mobility issues). The staff are very friendly and helpful. I had dinner in the beautiful garden. The food was fabulous and not expensive. The service was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was amazing, so much choice! The reception staff also organised a taxi pick up from Cuernavaca and my taxi to the bus station on departure.
