This was a repeat visit to this hotel as we had such an enjoyable stay there last year. However we were rather disappointed in the condition of the relaxation whirlpools this time around. The jets were not working in the upper pool and the lower pool had several leaks and the shower head did not work.

Undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Portugal. The excellence of hospitality combined with the magnificent hotel facilities in our Alentejo, more precisely in the wonderful Vila Viçosa.

Belíssimo hotel, inspirado pela tradição do mármore. O hotel chega mesmo a ter alguma opulência em termos de decoração, derivado da utilização desse mesmo mármore. À chegada fomos muito bem recebidos pelo staff, com um licor, da tradição local, no lounge bar com uma agradável música relaxante, excelente após a viagem. Durante a estadia foram sempre simpáticos e atenciosos. Sem nós pedirmos fizeram um upgrade para um quarto superior. O nosso quarto era excelente , cómodo, limpo, a destacar a cama super confortável. O SPA, com muito bom gosto, no piso -1 , tem dois tanques (como nos disseram), um jacuzzi twin, enorme, espaçoso, confortável, muito aquecido, todo em mármore, claro, e uma piscina dupla, aquecida, no interior e no exterior. O hotel é calmissimo, perfeito para relaxar. O hotel fica no centro da vila, que é maravilhosa.

Idéalement situé, au cœur de Vila Viçosa, à proximité des restaurants, du château et du Palais des Ducs de Bragance, l'établissement est luxueux : beaucoup de marbre (peut-être un peu trop ?), une vaste chambre ouvrant sur une belle terrasse dominant la piscine (hélas couverte à l'automne), un joli salon mais à la décoration un peu froide, une salle de restaurant qui nous a semblé immense car nous étions tout seuls mais à la qualité de service irréprochable. La cuisine raffinée et créative comblera les gourmets à petit appétit. Les soins fabuleux au SPA ont contribué à la réussite du séjour.

Adorei! Quarto fantástico (Deluxe room) com detalhes fantásticos por exemplo a varanda, a casa de banho gigante feira em mármore e a televisão no espelho! Piscina e spa excelentes com jacuzi ! Melhor spa que fui em Portugal parabéns Empregados muito simpáticos e organizados pequeno almoço muito bom e excelente restaurante! Apenas não gostei da entrada interior do hotel, não fazia mt sentido Mas adorei parabéns! 5*

Um hotel fantástico com um serviço realmente 5 estrelas em que todos os colaboradores se esforçam para manter o nível no mais alto padrão de qualidade. Desde que entramos a porta que nos sentimos especiais e até quando já estamos em casa e recebemos um mail a perguntar se fizemos boa viagem de regresso. As instalações são magníficas, a cama de casal e grande e fofa e a insonorização dos quartos permite um sono reparador. A experiência no Spa foi maravilhosa com os tanques com a água a uma temperatura de 36 graus e uma massagem relaxante que me fez muito bem e renovada.
