I never write reviews but felt compelled to write one on our stay at the Alexandria resort. We stayed for 6 nights and from the moment we checked in we felt we were in Paradise. Clawdy who checked us in really went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He assisted us throughout our stay with recommendations and was very thorough from assisting us with dinner reservations ,room amenities, excursions etc... Even the General Manager Priseila got involved on the guest level to make us feel welcome. Bottom line this resort is Paradise. We stayed in an ocean view suite with a gorgeous view. The food was great. Every staff member always greeted us to make us feel welcome. We even visited the sister property Blue Haven which was part of our package. In closing I did not anticipate to return to the Turqs anytime soon but we had such a great safe time we are considering going back soon. Kudos to Alexandria resort they have what it takes to be a 5 star resort!!!

my boyfriend and I have stayed at 5+ all inclusive resorts at various islands and this is the first one to disappoint us. I truly don’t know how this resort has 4 stars. we typically go for hotels with 4+ stars, great reviews of food, location, staff and modern look. however, we decided to give up the modern/aesthetic look as turks and caicos is an expensive island & enjoy all inclusive. looking back we regret that decision. alexandra has a sister hotel blue haven that is newer looking but it is not located on grace bay beach. we didn’t want to travel all this way to sit on a marina/man made beach. but it seems the look/feel and stay would have been better there, while sacrificing the beach. rooms: alexandra’s rooms are outdated, not super clean, and lack little details. I know they are working on upgrading some rooms but they are trying to charge almost double. they don’t offer slippers and when asking for robes we had to physically walk to the front desk as they would not deliver them to the room. the fridge is supposed to be stocked with waters and sodas every day and 2 of the 8 days we stayed there, nothing was stocked and we had to go to the front desk to get more. staff: the staff was overall rude and every time we asked for something we felt like a burden. there were a handful of staff that were super nice (tour desk, black rock, beach staff) but it wasn’t consistent. this trip was for my birthday and only one person asked if we were celebrating anything special. my boyfriend tried to ask the front desk to help set up the room for my birthday and they basically ignored him. he dropped off balloons for them around 7am (and even tipped them) and they didn’t call our room for a status or ever came up. by 1pm my boyfriend had to walk down to the front desk to get the balloons back. food/drink: I have dietary restrictions (gluten and dairy) and each menu did have options for me to choose from. however, after the food arrived I would notice there would be cheese or butter added to the dish. it seems they are mislabeling dishes as dairy or gluten free. luckily these dietary restrictions are by choice but if someone was actually lactose or celiac they would be in trouble. besides this, the food was just ok. again we would have preferred to not do all inclusive and have better food if we knew this before going into it. the drinks are honestly just not good. we stuck to wine, aperol spritzes and mimosas the whole week as the mixed drinks were not good at all. also I hate that this resort doesn’t offer room service as the balcony’s are huge and have a table to eat at. bars/restaurants: there are truly only 2 main dining options and they close and open at super weird hours. it gets boring after a while eating at the same exact locations everyday. luckily they have the sister resort blue haven (they offer free shuttles) and able to eat there. for bars, there is none open until 11am. as someone on vacation for their birthday I expected to be

After a few years of “trips” we wanted a slower paced vacation. This place fit the bill! The food was all exceptional, and the liquor was top shelf. I haven’t found “top shelf” liquor at other all inclusive resorts before. We were greeted with a very personable front desk staff, complete with a welcome drink while he checked us in. The room was clean, and the property very well maintained. And the spa … one of my best messages in a very long time. We met several other couples at the swim up bar at the pool and made some great memories. The only thing that was missing is a central gathering place with air conditioning - there is an outdoor area, but if they had a more open air bar with some music etc it would be the extra touch that would take this place over the top. Not the most luxury resort we’ve been to, but it was pretty darned close. We loved it and we would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved staying here. Everything about it was perfect, the food, drinks, entertainment, excursions. Special shoutout to Kimron who was fabulous with the entertainment and Coreylee the bartender. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Turks!

We were so excited about our trip that was supposed to happen in June 2024, but with all the Americans being arrested we decided to cancel. We were well with in the cancellation period, but have waited 5 weeks for our money to be refunded. We finally had to dispute it with the credit card company to get our money back. We have contacted the resort 5-7 times, and they were unhelpful. You can not deal with the resort directly. They make you go through a 3rd party in Florida which just complicates things further. We had hoped to rebook in the future but will not be doing so after this experience.

60th birthday celebration in paradise!!!!! My husband & I could not have been happier with this resort. At first there was a situation with our room but LaToya went above & beyond making it all good! Many of the reviews here complain about the resort not being 5star....well some of the furniture is worn & the pool might need a little tlc but, to us, it was paradise! Our garden room could use an upgrade but it was clean (maid service everyday), drinks in fridge were stocked & the bed was comfortable. Please note: the resort is not huge with a zillion pools & clubs open all night with blaring music....things close down around 11 which we loved. If you wanted you could party in your room, beach or in the small town outside the resort. We were attracted to a smaller more shill resort---we wanted to get up early to enjoy the natural beauty of the beach & enjoy the water activities. If you are looking for a big resort partying all night this one is not for you! The beach----there's a reason why this is considered one of the best beaches & we've been to many & we agree! The water is incredible & sand is like walking on flour! We enjoyed using the hobie cats, kyacks & snorkeling equipment & even booked a half/day snorkeling cruise which was the highlight of our vacation. We are active seniors! The resort had many fun activities all day & night & Kimron was THE MAN! So much fun! But you could just lounge at the pool or beach all day if so inclined. I even got a message...it was sheer heaven! The drinks were top shelf & generously poured! Shout out to Corey Lee & Skylar----you guys were awesome! Trishauna at the pool bar was the best! The food was delicious! Judy Anne & Majorie were awesome! We noticed that some tourists were just down right nasty. They arrived at the restaurant & were complaining about having to wait for a table for about 5-10 minutes when there were open tables.....have YOU ever worked at a restaurant? Maybe the kitchen was backed up? Maybe they were short a server? You're on vacation! Chill out! Geesh! You give what you get....some people are down right miserable...nothing is perfect! I wanna say the workers might be "indifferent"but not to me..... I'm always cheery & I was also a server so I know how difficult this job can be. Everyone was delightful & really made our stay special! Shout out to Ricar & Priscilla & sorry if I'm forgetting anyone! Please keep doing what you're doing---we will be back! The reason I didn't give it 5 stars: 1) Making reservations. You have to set your alarm at 12;01am to get into a restaurant but, if you can't get reservations, you won't go hungry....there are numerous places to get food & it's fresh & delicious. That said maybe tailor the reservation process 24 hours ahead. That's reasonable. It really was a pain to set an alarm when you go to sleep 10-11pm. 2) Worn & torn beach cushions. The resort is not cheap & I understand the cushions are out in the elements but this makes it feel junky. Either get

This is by far the best resort/beach we have seen or been to. From the transportation, staff, rooms, food and of course the beach are all beyond our expectations. This is our third time back in less than a year and we will be back soon! Some shout outs…Adrian such an amazing manager and will go above and beyond to help in anyway. Keisha, Corylee, Cloudia, Fararr all make the best drinks and have such great vibes it’s contagious. We have been here with our kids and with out, it is great for both family vacation, honeymoon, anniversary or just a get away. I could go on and on about this place but I suggest you just book your trip instead! ♥️
