I was in Phuntshopelri as part of my Bhutan tour. A slight hiccup regarding rooms was soon sorted, and I was given Room 204. There is plenty of light and a corner room. Since the hotel is in the middle of town, the views were mainly street views, which was nevertheless very interesting. The hotel could do with a bit of refurbishment, especially the floors in the room. But the room itself was spotless , odour free, and had everything I needed. A special note to mention that they had provided a universal adapter, which made charging my devices very easy. A big shout out to the restaurant staff, Tshering Choden, Kinzang Norbu, Tshewang Rinchen, Choki Wangmo Extremely courteous, always smiling and able to help me with special requests. My package included breakfast and dinner, and I loved it. Tshering Choden actually went out of her way to ensure I got the wine I wanted the last evening. Totally loved the experience.

The service is great, the food is awesome and the people are so warm and friendly that made the whole stay really really comfortable and memorable. The place looks and feel so grand. Being located right at the center of Thimphu it gives and excellent experience of the city!

Little cojusted due to location in the city. Hotel restaurant was good with very warm hospitality. Rooms are very well equipped. Staff very cooperative and humble. Rate is reasonable looking to the location and services.

I loved staying in this hotel at the start of our trip in Bhutan and then we had lunch there on our return. The highlight for me was the amazing service and friendliness of the Food and Beverage girls who looked after us so well. Thank you Yangden, Jeena Rai, Tshering Dechen and Choki Wangmo for making our time in the hotel so very special and memorable!

The staff is lovely! I especially enjoyed my meals. The staff in the restaurant (Yangdon, Jaena Rai, Tshoring Dechen and Choki Wangmo) all showed a special balance of friendly and respectful. I felt very well taken care of :). The hotel is simple and clean. A little noisy but this dies down around 11 pm. It is very central so you can walk to the memorial and take in the bustling commercial activity on the way.
