"Our first visit to Bhutan and we stayed in Le Meridian Thimphu for 2 nights. I cannot express in words the level of hospitality in this hotel. Every single staff was so kind and had such an unconditional love & compassion towards the guests. The room itself was very nice and the property is quite a good one. The food was exceptionally tasty specially the dinner. Kudos to the chef , every dish was delicious. But what stood out was the kindness of staff like ANUSHA , SUNITA , SANGITA and TSHOKEY. When my son suffered from Altitude sickness and had to be taken to the emergency hospital Anusha came with us . They arranged wheelchair, taxi and the staff made everything possible in the hospital. And didn’t even charge anything or accept any cash. I am beyond touched by this kindness and gesture by every single person who helped us and had genuine service mentality. If in Thimphu , Le Meridian is undoubtedly the best place to stay. At the end of our stay they even gave us Bhutanese dress to wear and click pics."

"A good simple hotel in Thimpu , Bhutan . Hotel doesn’t feel or look like any other Ramada hotels that I have stayed before in other places . Looks like a down- graded type of Ramada Hotel . Rooms were spacious , clean and comfortable. Breakfast and buffet dinner didn’t have variety . Quality could had been better . Service and hospitality is top notch . The porch at entrance has over grown lawn with weeds in it. The hotel is still worth staying . I would recommend it ."
