I booked a suite and stayed at windsor rajdhani, trivandrum for 5 days in november 2022. Compared to past experience, the facilities and service were abysmally poor this time. The only positive aspect was the food. Room service however took over an hour and twenty minutes plus four calls to deliver just coffee while visitors waited and wondered what was going on. Housekeeping was non existent unless regular complaints were lodged at the reception for cleaning the room or replacing towels. Consumables like soap or even tea bags and water that were advertised, were never replenished until repeated complaints were lodged. The suite 1001 had two tvs that didn't work and the set top boxes that were precariously perched over the screens never connected to any input channels. The hotel couldn't fix it. Any decent hotel would have offered an alternate room in such situations but not this dilapidated one. I expect that the inept hotel staff would make an excuse that no suites were available but that would be a lie because there were four other unoccupied suites on floor 10. Having stayed at scores of 4 and 5 star hotels worldwide, i would rate this experience as the very worst their star rating must be lowered immediately so that customers do not get cheated through their false advertising.
