South Park is conveniently located in the heart of the city, a stone's throw from the Secretariat and not far from the Sree Pad***abhaswamy Temple. We were allowed to check in more than 2 hours before the standard time, which was appreciative. Very good sized rooms, comfortable beds ***** with a clean bathroom. We were allotted a room on the 4th floor. Some of the furniture may appear old-styled though that is not a concern. The AC functioning was a bit of an issue which made the room very cold though the weather outside was quite the opposite. Considering the kind of place, the food especially the breakfast, though not bad, could have been better. May not be a bad idea to stay here and try other better food options in the city, which are not too far. The hotel staff was co-operative and prompt in attending to regular requirements. A good stay option to consider when travelling to Thiruvananthapuram.

Its location is strategically near the airport, but it is not as easy to figure out without the help of a Google Map. We enjoy the stay there and a special shout out goes to the Front desk staff for their efficiency, the excellent service from the restaurant, the Guards and Door*** for their smiles and greetings, whom are often not recognized. However we also need to address the following as a feedback and also as it is a MUST. Please pay attention to the simple request that goes a long way to keep your guests happy. Invest a little in providing a Safe Box and mini fridge. This are essentials that cost a long way from happy guests. I had ask prior to my stay and it was acknowledged but not fulfilled, until a few days later then it was sent to the room. A little upset an disappointed that the staffs keep saying will do it, soon, later, by today, but never do. Housekeeping staff needs to inform guest if they remove any of the items and leave a note ex: We came to the room and found a can of Raisins, that was indicated in the room for guest consumption missing, thus thinking we consumed it and payable, until we called the front desk and was told it was removed as it has expired. Not a good practice. Other than that we truly and honestly appreciate the overall pleasant stay there. Thank you and good luck in all future progress at all Classic Sarovar Hotels.

Ranga Maalika is located within the royal palace area: absolute calm and well kept place. The suite where I stayed is expensive for the actual services performed: in 4 days only one change and only one cleaning of the room. The Indian breakfast served was very meager. The request, on the day of departure, to be able to have breakfast half an hour earlier than expected (8 am) was not accepted. In short, the excellent evaluations that the structure has, have turned out to be excessive

Thank you for your help for 7 days. I think the location is good as it is within walking distance of Sripad***abhaswamy Temple, which is the number one tourist spot in Thiruvananthapuram. The rooms are clean and spacious. There is no air conditioning, but there is a huge fan on the ceiling that is as cool as an air conditioner. There is no hot water from the shower, but it's hot outside, so if you take a shower after going out, the temperature will be just right. The restaurant was open even at odd hours, so I think it's probably open 24 hours. There is a menu in each room so you can check it out, but the prices are not that high compared to nearby restaurants. The minimum amenities other than tissues and shampoo are provided. I was so satisfied that I couldn't believe it was only 2,000 yen per night.
