I will stay here every time I go to Switzerland. The scenery there will never be forgotten in my heart. Far away from the hustle and bustle of Zurich and Interlaken, this is the real Switzerland and the real scenery of lakes and mountains.

We booked this hotel as it was one of few offering multiple beds in one room. The pictures were not great but it turned out to be much better in reality.
Check in was so smooth and easy with a big smile and very helpful staff.
The location is a bit far away from the lake side but we weee driving and so this was not a major issue. They offer free parking which is even better.
Outside the hotel is a little church that is absolutely beautiful. The whole setting and surrounding was amazing.
Breakfast was also very good with hams, cheeses , fruits, cereal, , eggs , fruit juice , bread and tea/coffee all as part of the buffet.

The hotel was very nice. The room was very large and had a balcony with a view of the lake. The room had a coffee maker, coffee, creamer, safe. The bathroom had 6 towels (there were two of us staying there), face tissue and soap. Front desk personnel was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room for 2 was too small, that one can barely move inside. Had to upgrade to a bigger one.

Hotel is right next to bus stop that goes to Thun, which is perfect if you need the convenience of travel.
Staff is very friendly and assisted me when they couldn’t find my booking or work the safe. I dock a couple of stars because the room is slightly dated (no free outlets to plug into next to the beds) and there isn’t someone always at the front desk to help (but perhaps because I went off season).
This place gets the job done for a night, and the views from the patio/balcony are just lovely!

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Bären in Sigriswil. It was refreshing to experience the charm of a family-run hotel again. From the friendly check-in to the room with a fantastic view, to the extensive breakfast and, as a bonus, the great sauna.
It was also nice to check out at 12pm (instead of the usual 11am), which gave us a little more time to enjoy the sauna.
We highly recommend the Bären in Sigriswil and would come back anytime.
