Travelodge by Wyndham Thunder Bay

My worst experience so far. A smell of cigarettes in the corridor leading to my room, the smell was coming from an identified room, the 203, which had its door shortly open. From outside, we were able to see the room occupants smoking from their room with windows open. They were throwing out the smoke outside but there was the awful smell inside the hotel. I complained 4 times about it and no action has been taken to take care of the problem. Also, my neighboor kept hitting on the wall until over midnight and it made it hard for me to sleep. I complained 3 times about it and no action has been taken. Also, a drunk person kept calling at my room to disturb us. I asked the receptionist for knowing who was the person who kept calling me and she was unable to tell. She was also unable to check and/or prevent the calls so I have been forced to pull the plug on the phone, so it stops to ring. Without a doubt my worst hotel experience by very far. 0 effort from the staff to solve any of the numberous problems. It was a complete disaster. I also forgot to mention how dirty the alley was on my way to my room. There was chips on the carpet, used toilet paper, used dirty towels. It was obvious the staff accountable of cleaning messed up his job. To resume, bad receptionist, bad cleaner, bad service and bad neighboors. It was a complete disaster. Sincerely.

Nice hotel with friendly staff but the rooms bathroom need to be updated

Need a exhaust fan for the bathroom. Curtains would not completely close off the window.

The hotel is dingy and needs a makeover. The carpet in the room is in desperate need of replacing. Overall a dingy hotel. Smelled like pot smoke in one of the hallways. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast offering

We stayed 3 nights. We did not get new towels, garbage was not picked up, beds were not made. Usually they still clean the room even if we are not checking out. Was disappointed for that. Also, breakfast was limited because the pancake machine was out of order and the juice dispenser machine also.

Mold, dirt, rust.. oh my! Please save your money and go to literally any other place to stay. The "non-smoking" room is a joke... it reeked of cigarette smoke. The pillows on the bed were the size of couch throw pillows. There was unclean surfaces, mold, rust and dirt all over. The mini fridge was scuffed up and broken. It was loud and just the most unpleasant place so we had to leave and find somewhere else to sleep.
