I was responsible for making the arrangements for a group of 20 work associates to gather from across Ontario for a 2-3 day meeting. It was important to me that the meeting space, guest room booking, and catering service went smoothly and the staff and venue at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites on Garrick St. In Thunder Bay, did not let us down. From my first correspondence with Donnalee in January, to our checking out of the hotel in March, the experience went magnificently! The food was delicious and was always brought into the meeting room at the exact time as arranged which helped keep out meetings on schedule. The price was very fair and we all were appreciative of the clean, quite and comfortable rooms. Our meeting space was set up as per our request and had cleverly provided each sitting spot with a personalized welcome note containing the hotel's Wi-Fi access information. The friendly staff were friendly and accommodating to our every need. I wish I would have remembered to leave a gratuity, as I was unable to do so after the fact. Again, the staff were all amazing and "hats-off" to Donnalee and her team. We were super impressed!
