laurentl587Cet hôtel que nous avons connu et fréquenté depuis 20 ans a perdu son standing son charme son esprit et devenu un attrape touristes, idéalement issus de pays étrangers, qui ne viendront qu une fois, après la déception des lieux, en payant 15 à 20% plus cher que les années passées. Mais à ce prix, comment peut on se satisfaire ? Les plaintes fusent, rien n’y fait la direction reste silencieuse et sourde. Mais quelle déception ! Restauration, service, entretien, maintenance, plus rien ne correspond à cet illustre 4 étoiles Tignard. Seul le personnel du bar est au niveau. À éviter

Very well located, fantastic access to ski lifts, great SPA with 3 well heated saunas, nice rooms but average breakfasts (low variety of warm dishes, no eggs a la carte etc.)

Room was a plus; cosy with lots of storage space and a comfortable bed, nice mountain view. The ski-in ski-out was also really good. The food (breakfast and dinner) was a disappointment; not tasty, bland, not creative, often not at right temperature (too cold) and no variety in breakfast offerings, overall quality of food was rather low. The welness area was small with a dirty jacuzzi and a cold outside pool. The service in the main restaurant was sometimes really poor. Overall unfortunately not a 4 star experience.

I had a lovely week at the Montana in Tignes. The hotel is really well situated for skiing in ski out especially on the Almes run so if you are a beginner to intermediate it’s really good and really handy. Stayed in room 512 which a great view on the resort and the pool. Swimming pool was lovely really enjoyed a dip with the kids after being on the slopes all day, the hotel itself is looking a little bit tired. I don’t think it would take much to update it and make it even better than it is now. I would return in the future but would probably prefer to stay somewhere a little bit modern and up to date. Ps sledges, the hotel have some and the boys loved sledging at night right by the hotel. Was great fun!

A last minute booking to Tignes, and wanting a hotel close to the slopes and with a pool this was perfect. Parking at the hotel was €20 per night. The rooms are abit of a maze to find, especially if you’re in B block. You need to switch floors and elevators! First day we were struggling to get to the right part of the hotel. Rooms were really spacious, great view of the mountain. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast was good. Didn’t have to queue or wait, food was plentiful and overall a very good selection. Staff all very nice and friendly. I Only small annoyance that for 3 days the table outside our room seemed to be a dumping ground for other guests plates, glasses and left over food. For a 4* hotel, this should have been cleared immediately. Don’t expect to keep returning every afternoon to see more and more crockery dumped.

Accueil sympathique et très joli hôtel. Ski aux pieds en hiver, c’était génial. Par contre, isolation au spa et courant d’air dans mes ascenseurs et dans la salle à manger pas top.

Habitués de l'hotel depuis 10 ans, nous avons passé un superbe moment en famille. Ski aux pieds idéal pour les enfants même en niveau débutant. Franchement on a super bien diner car on a profité des 3 restaurants et c'était parfait ! Nous n'avons pas tester le restaurant gastronomique avec les enfants qui tiennent peu en place c'était un peu plus compliqué. Super staff, superbe ambiance. Toutes les équipes ont le smile et ça fait clairement plaisir de voir la superbe ambiance qu'il règne dans les équipes. Une très belle proximité avec la direction qui renforce le sentiment d'hotel familial. Nous avons passé une superbe semaine et un vrai souffle de jeunesse à été apporté dans cet hotel vieillissant mais plein d'energie grace aux nouvelles équipes et à la nouvelle touche ! Merci et à l'année prochaine on a déjà hâte
