Penang Hill Lodge

Stayed here for a short trip and was surprised by the value for money. The place was clean, well-kept, and located in a quiet area, which made it a nice zen place. Our room was on the ground floor, so we didn’t have to carry our luggage up the stairs. The room had 2 queen-sized beds, and the mattresses were comfortable. The blankets felt cosy and homely. The bathroom was clean, and the water heater worked well although the shower head was fixed and could not be adjusted. There were sufficient hangers provided, and I liked that the room had a safety latch for extra security. The whole property felt quite secure too, as only guests with an access card can enter the premises. Do note that there is usually no receptionist stationed at the lobby, so it is important to inform the property before check-in. Complimentary bottled water is not provided, but there is a water dispenser outside near the pantry. Slippers are also not provided. The only small issues were that there were a few tiny flies around even though the place was generally clean and the air-cond seemed a bit old so it made some noise. For a budget hotel, I honestly can’t complain. The room was comfortable, clean, and felt safe. Definitely worth considering if you’re looking for an affordable place to stay. Overall, for a budget hotel, I really have nothing much to complain about. The cleanliness, comfort, security, and affordability make it a worthwhile option, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

If someone wants to stay outside the chaos of Georgetown, somewhere calm, convenient and homestay like experience, Penang Hill Lodge is highly recommended. I found their service to be fairly good. The room was not spacious but comfortable having all the amenities.

Booked last minute to do the penang hill heritage run. Place was cheap and pretty clean, the only bad parts are that the walls are pretty thin so u can heard ppl coming in and out of their hotel. For thr price thou, excellent value.

- Location is strategic - Cleanliness is good, all plug points can be used and wifi connection is strong too. - limited parking space, - Self check-in, owner will give you instruction before you arrived. - feels like home. - good place to stay.

Unique hotel. Is a bungalow type. Cosy. But environment a bit noisy at time

Room was clean , nice owner . Very recommended to stay here because near to Bukit bendera .

The location is very near to Penang hills and kek lok shi. And beside got food to eat also
