Always get what you expect at Village. Clean and tidy room, easy check in/out, lovely breakfast. Little disappointed with the price but was due to an organised event in the locality.

Not happy with trip.co.uk as I booked a club room with free access to gym and pool. But when about to enter gym/swimming pool they refused saying that it was a standard double room. Even though it was a club room, and all club rooms include free access to gym and pool.
Lady in gym reception refused to let us in even though it clearly stated in the email confirmation that it was a club room with free access. Lady still refused and demanded money to use the gym and pool. I asked for management. They said because i booked through trip.com (third party) it did not allow.
Absolutely ridiculous.

I have stayed at the hotel so long it's clear that it feels like home and I can honestly they they don't go less than above and beyond to help you feel at ease and at home I have not one complaint to make other than, can't you just let me live there guys xx 🥰
Helen on the desk is one of the loveliest people you'll probably encounter and if there's an issue they try their best to deal with it in a favourable manner so that you don't feel awkward or embarrassed, well once they know you better, you'll have to remember how many people they all deal with minute by minute and they aren't all reasonable, understanding or rationale but they all seem to keep their cool and keep a light humour to the situation which is lovely xx

Hotel was ok. Good gym facilities. The bar area is good and inviting. The room was ok, tad small with a child but ok for 2 nights. The issue we had was noise! We were given an adjoining room. Circa 5.30am on Sunday we were woken by an alarm in next room that continued on and on. I rang reception, no answer, ended up going down there circa 6am and was told there was nothing that could be done. Village policy - they do not take any responsibility for guest behaviour! So basically do as you like in village. I went back upstairs and had to bang on the door before the alarm was turned off. Needless to say we were all fully awake and it ruined our day totally. Later in the morning I approached reception again. Had the same response. Basically absolutely zero interest. I have multiple audio recordings to show how bad the noise was in our room and into the corridor. Staff had no interest. So if you want a hotel where you are happy to be woken at any time of the day or night then book this and enjoy the noise!!!!!

We are staying at the hotel at the moment and having stayed at a number of villages that had clearly gone down hill, this hotel is very good! The room was clean and tidy on arrival and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was good with lots and choice and was hot. I'm not sure if this village has had an upgrade but we couldn't fault anything and well worth a visit.

Plenty of parking, check in on screen which was weird, but friendly staff member going around to make sure it worked for everyone. Room clean, quiet and comfortable. Good Gym and pool facilities. Used restaurant in the evening, very clean, service excellent as was my burger. Breakfast cooked options were average, but quality of food was OK-Good. Overall good value for money and a nice place to stay, wouldn't hesitate to book again.

My little girl loved the swimming pool. Was a perfect day out/night. Rooms were lovely and staff were very accommodating. Would definitely book again
