Good location. The facilities were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach was clean and accessible. Reaching here was a bit difficult as you had to get down at Tekek Village and then take a taxi across the island to the other side.

We stayed for 4 nights, booked daily because we were planning to move to the other side. In the end, we stayed here and were very pleased. This side of the island is very quiet and peaceful. The only thing that can break the silence are fireworks, which are sometimes launched in the evenings, but this cannot be considered a disadvantage.

Chill hotel, staffs are friendly and accommodating, receptionists are doing a great job. Food is towards the expensive side but there are other food options around. Would be great if the hotel stop charging in-house guests for snorkeling equipment. Nevertheless, we enjoy our time in Barat.

The hotel is 30mins ride away from jetty and the road was bumpy and steep and it cost rm30 per trip per pax. Won't recommend for elderly and small children as the ride is very bumpy and my husband felt car sick after the ride. The hotel is quite clean but the beach cannot snorkel as there is waves. It is more suitable for surfing. There is nothing much to do at the resort in the afternoon either go to ali waterfall or swim at the pool. Will book other hotels next time.

Best and quiet place to stay with family. Not a place where the nights are alive. Best food too at the corner of the hotel.
The beach at the hotel's front is clean, the only thing I hope was, there were coral reefs too.
